Previously on The Forgotten Runaway,
I miss Tubs and Ran. I hope they're doing alright is the last thing I remember thinking before I fell asleep.
Tommy's POV:
When I wake back up again I am laying on one of the most comfiest things I have ever been on, and that's saying a lot considering I live on the higher district. I than realize that my mask is gone but I remember that flying off during the explosion.
"Are you awake yet Theseus?" I hear. I'm going to assume its Fang because its sounds deep and monotone and disorientated because of the voice changer.
"... Yeah I guess I am. What's it to ya?" I reply back as I head the door nob jiggling. "So they have an outside door lock" I thought.
Fang walks through the door with Whisper in tow. After I see them enter the room, I then look around the room since I didn't when I woke up. It looked like a normal-ish bedroom. The walls were a silver grey with creamy white trim, a wooden double door closet, a queen sized bed with red and white sheets, pillow cases. comforter. and two dressers, one by the bed that doubles as a nightstand, and the other one near the closet. The only thing that is very out of the ordinary is the giant suit case looking thing that is leaning against the wall by the dresser.
"Wha-"Don't start your shit Theseus we moved you into a guest room so we could have our healer take a look at the damage from the bomb." I started to say before Whisper and his damn voice interrupted me.
"Boys" We all turn towards the door and see Zephyrus standing there with a tray of what looks like food.
"Leave him alone so he can eat then hopefully answer some questions" I knew that wasn't a question, that was a demand. If that "Hero" tower taught me anything, its to obey first ask later.
I bow my head down in apology but what I don't notice is the saddened eyes of the three of them. Before I even have time to look up there is a tray of food sitting on my lap. It contains a glass of Apple juice (Apple Juice is superior fight me), what looks like two dunky eggs, three pieces of toast, two sausage patties, and a few pieces of apple.
"I didn't know what you liked mate so I just served up what I made for everyone else." I look up and see Zephyrus talking to me.
"Nononono this is fine, I'm just not much of a breakfast person but I haven't eaten in what? 24 hours? maybe 36?" I say while dipping my toast in the egg, closing my eyes in delight.
"Hmmm if my math's correct, you have been out for 32 hours, but that's how long you've been out with us. WE OR AT LEAST I guesstimated you were out an hour before we found you" I hear Fang say. I nearly spit my Apple Juice out when I hear that.
"FUCKING WHAT???" I shouted watching and Whisper jumped not expecting me to yell.
"Mate please calm down and finish eating so we can continue the questions" I swear to prime if Zephyrus doesn't shut up I'll dig the old man his grave and burry him alive.
"Okay god damn dude did you not have your morning coffee yet old man?" All I get back is a choked laugh from Whisper, and glare from Zephyrus with no actual threat behind it, and a full on snort from Fang who I forgot was in the room.
"He got you good Zeph." Fang says as he's done snorting.
"Wellllll ok fine he did but god damn I was not expecting that from Theseus out of all people. Now mate can you answer some of our questions?" Zephyrus askes me after everyone is calmed down after their laughter rush.
"I can try to but no promises" I tell him with a hidden smirk on my face because I know exactly what he's gonna ask.
"Alright that's fine and a good start. So mate the first question I'm pretty sure we all can agree we want to know is, do you remember anything from before you were a hero? Like absolutely anything?" I look at him with nothing but absolute shock.
"No one has every asked me that before" I tell them with full honesty. I then continue, "To answer your question though, I remember some things but not very many. I do know my parents were killed when I was 4 because of a villain attack but a lot of people said it was the hero's, I was in the foster system until I was 6, and that's when Myth and EXDEE walked through those orphanage doors claiming they were looking for a kid for Myth to adopt." I stop for a second to get a drink before continuing
"After around 6 months I think it was, Myth started to become more and make controlling moves and acting possessive. is it a coincidence he had a meeting with the "dean" or "boss" at that time. From that moment on everything would be ok. He started treating me like a proper 7 year old. From there he would treat me like a child until one day." Before I can continue a guard breaks open the door panting.
"B-b-bo-o-o-ooss" He
Before he can say anything else, he went comatose.
"Fuck" Is what I hear all three of them at once. "Uh Oh this can't be good" I thought
And Boy Was I right.
