Part 11

"Haa~"

Takemichi let out a breath as he exited the stall he was in. As Takemichi was washing his hands on the sink, he heard a door open. Takemichi looked up to see Mikey walking out of a bathroom stall.

"Takemitchy!! " Mikey greeted him enthusiastically, walking fast towards him. Subconsciously, Takemichi stepped back at the other's advance.

"Mikey-kun? What are you doing- U-Uwaa--!"

"Takemitchy-! " Before Takemichi could bump his head on the sink, Mikey thankfully held him up.
"Are you alright? "

As Takemichi was about to assure Mikey that he was fine, he was interrupted by a group of people who barged in them.

"So that's what happened" Draken mused to break the uncomfortable silence. The blue-eyed blonde had explained for them what had happened in the bathroom, with the midget whining and pouting at them.

"Wait- then why was the door locked? " Chifuyu asked.

"It was locked??? " Yeri looked at Mikey in question as he asked, confused.

"You didn't lock it? "

"What? No! "

"Oh, I think I heard some employees say that they were going to have a door fixed because some customers complained that it was locking by itself."

" They must have been talking about that door" Everyone looked at Takemichi as he explained.

Soon after, the manager appeared and asked about the problem. They told the manager what happened and they apologized for breaking down the door.

Yeri offered to pay them with her black card as compensation but the manager refused, saying " They were going to get the door fixed anyways, might as well get it changed". Unluckily for the manager, Yeri was a stubborn ex-gangster and threatened the manager to accept the compensation.

"So- Uhh.. You're Takemichi's sister..? " Emma tore off the uncomfortable air around them nervously as they walked out of the cafe, heading to wherever their feet led them.

Yeri only nodded with a hum before topping it off with a question "How did you know about me? "

"Um! - Well- You said it earlier--when Mikey and Takemichi were in the bathroom... " Suddenly, Emma realized the stark difference between the two siblings. While the one she knew didn't have any air that suffocates people (rather- it was more like it's the people that suffocated him), his sister gave off vibes that yelled she'd beat you up had she wanted to.

"Hm, I guess I did" Yeri dismisses, not seeming to be invested in the current topic of their conversation.

Sensing the older's disinterest, Emma thought it best to quiet down.

"Right!-" Takemichi suddenly let out, grabbing the attention of the others with him. "Why did you guys suddenly barge in the washroom? Especially you, nee-san," The blonde crybaby looked at his sister, "That was the men's washroom you barged into".

Without skipping a bit, everyone stills in their positions and stops walking; all of them looking at Takemichi as they finally realize what he said.

Two...
Three...
Moments of silence overtook them, everyone trying to find a reason to explain to the dyed-blonde. Any other reason- just not the actual one.

"Right- why did you guys do that?" Mikey butted in as if he had any right to.

"Shut your mouth you midget-" Yeri glared at Toman's president (She still refused to believe someone as childish and dumb as he was the president of a powerful gang). "We were just worried you'd be locked in the bathroom" She lied without an ounce of conscience getting to her. The younger gangsters looked at her in astonishment at how easily she could come up with a lie to defend her.

"That so..." Takemichi nodded. He could tell there was something more to it. But what could he do? He has no reason not to believe her- plus... They've always been like that... 'Lying so easily through your teeth...' Takemichi let out a small sigh.

The group of gangsters joined the two siblings in their bonding and hung out with them. Laying off with their duties as gangsters and temporarily forgetting their relationships as rivaling gangs.

When it was time to leave, they accompanied Takemichi and his sister to the nearest train station and waved goodbye at them, wishing the two a safe trip home.

"Are you sure you don't need help carrying all those bags?" Draken asked the younger, looking worriedly at the mountain of shopping bags they have.

"Don't worry Draken, I can handle this" Takemichi refused, again.

He has offered to help the smaller boy carry all the packages since he has experience with shopping with the older sisters at the brothel and Emma dragging him around to carry her bags when they hang out, but Takemichi just denies the offer whenever he asks.

"Are you sure you'll be fine from here on? " Hina asked, worried that the two might get jumped on the way home.

"I think you're forgetting who he' going home with Hina" the previously quiet Yeri interrupted with a grin. The pinkette smiles at her in return.

"Right, if you both ever ambushed, it's the attackers I should worry for" Yeri ruffles Hina's head, proudly smirking.

"We'll be going now, goodbye, stay safe" Takemichi bids them goodbye as the others return the gesture.

"Don't get yourself beat up on the way! " Baji cackles loudly while avoiding Emma, Chifuyu, and Draken from either hitting him or scolding him at his joke. The others simply laugh with him as they part ways with Takemichi and Yeri.

"They're a messy bunch, huh? " Yeri comments, listening to the young gangsters loudly joke around with each other, as she walks in a leisure pace with her brother.

"I guess they are" The younger agrees, a soft smile painted on his face. His sister looks at his expression, silently observing for any itch and twitches he might make at them; as she sees, not even a single contempt was spotted on him. Just plain affection and desire to keep them like this, happy, and peaceful.

Yeri sighs. Suppose she should've expected this from a Hanagaki. She guesses she'll have a hard time getting him to distance himself away from them, what with his stubbornness too.

"This is going to be troublesome..." She mumbles.

You guys missed me? Lol I was away for so long I won't be surprised if you guys forgot abt me and this stories plot and had to reread this from chapter 1. Lmao

Anyways, I can't really excuse what I've done. I kept you guys waiting for so long, being inactive and such. Tbh, I've prolly forgotten like half- if not more- of the plot I have for this novel. Hope you guys still liked this story tho, even though there lots of holes in them specially this chapter. Being busy with writing for creative writing 24/7 must've took a lot from me, but I'll still make sure to get back on track, hopefully, as long as I don't get side-tracked lol.
