Mr. Lone boy

Griffin:
After the lunch bell rings, I rush out of the classroom. "Griffin!" I hear Billy call. "Hey Billy," I quietly say. "You're still sitting with me, right?" He excitedly shouts. I silently nod. He drags me to the lunchroom. I wince as I feel the pressure on my arm.

He drags me to a table. 6 people sit there, 4 boys and 2 girls. "Hey guys!" Billy calls out as he sits down. He pulls me next to him. "Hey Billy, who's this," a boy with long black hair and a bandana asks. "Robin, this is Griffin," he introduces, wrapping his arm around my shoulder. "Hey Griffin! I'm Bruce!" A friendly looking guy exclaims. "Vance," The blonde guy next to him says as he stares me down.

A boy clings onto Robin's side. "I'm Finney," the boy smiles. "I'm Gwen!" One of the girls says. Her hair lays loosely in braids on her back. "Im Donna," the other girl says with a friendly smile.

"Anyways, I've never seen you around, you new?" Vance asks. "No," I quietly mumble. "What the hell did he just say?!" Vance asks harshly. "He's not new," Billy responds for me.

I pull out my book and begin reading, shutting out the outside world.

Billy takes my book and places it in his lap. "Hey, give it back," I quietly whine. "Nope," he says placing my book farther away.

I look at him with pleading eyes. "Please?" I ask him. His face turns a dark crimson. "I-Um- Ugh- N-No?" He stumbles. Everyone else snickers. I still can't reach my book. "Give it back dipshit," I snap. "It can talk in a normal voice," Vance hums. "Woah-" Billy stares in astonishment. Tobin burst out in laughter, everyone eventually joining in.

Funny dies of laughter on Robins shoulder. Robin kisses his forehead. I shoot Billy a questioning glance. "Robin and Finney are dating," he says between giggles. "Okay," I respond back to being quiet.

Vance and Bruce die of laughter on each others shoulders, as well. "Are they dating to?" I quietly ask. "Yup," Billy calms down.

Eventually, everyone stops laughing. Billy's arm snakes around my shoulder again. I lean on him. I reach over and swiftly grab my book.

I start reading, still in the same position.

And I don't remember anything after that.
