I wake up, earlier than normal. I look outside my window and see Billy doing his morning newspaper trip. I get out of bed. I change into a hoodie and jeans, as I gently slide my shoes on. I head to my bathroom and brush my teeth, before messing with my hair.
I throw a my bag gently over my shoulder. I walk outside. "Griffin!" Billy shouts riding up to me. "Hello to you to," I respond. "I'm gonna go drop my bike off, wait for me?" He asks. "No," I respond and start walking off. "Pleaseee," he tries. "No," I repeat. "Please?" He chants repeatedly. "Fine," i groan. "Thank you, Griffin!" He shouts, riding over to his house. "Your welcome," I grumble.
"I'm back!" He shouts rushing up to me. I look over at him and start walking. He catches up to me.
"Finney! Robin!" Billy shouts. They turn around and walk over to us. "Hey guys," they respond. I wave silently. "Are you guys dating or something," Robin asks us. "No," Billy sighs. He whispers something in Robin's ear that made his expression change. "Good luck, dude," he responds.
Finney smirks at me. "You like him don't you," Fonney smirks at me. "Wha- No h-he's really a-annoying," I say flustered. "Yeah- sure," he smiles at me. I look up at Billy. His face expression is unreadable. "You okay?" I ask him, placing my hand on his arm. He nods and looks down at me. "All good," he responds.
A worried expression spreads across my face. I grab his wrist softly. "Don't lie," I say as I look up at him. "I'm not," he responds, "no need to be worried," he smiles and continues walking.
"Are you okay?" Finney asks me. "Better question, is Billy okay?" I quietly ask averting my eyes from Billy to look at Finney.
"He's probably just tired," Finney says, placing a hand on my shoulder. "Yeah.., okay," I respond looking down.
For the rest of the day, Billy continues to weird.
At lunch, I don't go to the lunch table. I sit on the Library, reading.
I feel my phone vibrate. I look at the screen.
