Griffin:
"Where's Billy?" I quietly ask them. "He left," Robin responds, shooting daggers in my direction. "Oh- bye then," I mumble. "Hey at least take our numbers," Finney said typing in their numbers. I wave bye and walk home.

When I arrive home, I head to the bathroom and shower. I change and then grab out my phone.

Mr. Lone boy:
Why'd you leave so fast?

I hit send. I pull out my book and begin reading.

It's been a few hours and no response.

Mr. Lone boy:
Billy?

Still no response. I click on Finney's contact.

Mr. Lone boy:
Do you know why Billy won't respond???

Badana4life'sbitch:
He's probably just asleep or smth

Mr. Lone boy:
Yeah, okay

I put my phone in my pocket. I don't believe he's asleep. It's only 7:30. I grab my book out again and begin reading.

I check the time. 1:45 am?! I should go to bed. I put my book by my bed and pull on my hood. I lay on bed and fall asleep.

When I wake up, I realize I slept though my alarm. I quickly throw on new clothes, put on my shoes, and grab my book and phone before rushing out the door.

I rush through the school doors. The bell rings right as I walk into my first class. "Your technically not late," the teacher says and shoos me off to my seat. When I sit down, Billy looks away from me.

I grab a small piece of paper and write on it.

Are you mad at me?

I pass him the note slowly, making sure the teacher doesn't notice. He crumbles up the note and shoves it in his bag.

When the lunch bell rings, I go to the library. I sit in the far back corner and begin reading. A drop of water lands on the page of my book. I place my hand under my eye. It's wet. Am I... crying?

I feel a buzz in my pocket. I pull out my phone. It's Bruce.

Pingpongboy's:
Where r u?

Mr. Lone boy:
Library

I send the text and shove it in my pocket. Another tear lands on the page. I hid my face in my hands. I wipe the tears off of my face and continue reading.

Bruce walks up to me. "Hm?" I shoot him a questioning glance. "Have you been crying..?" He asks me. "No...," I lie and look away. He gives me a 'I know your lying look' and hugs me. "I'm fine," I quietly tell him. "If you say so," he says.

I open camera on my phone and look at my face. My nose is red, and my eyes are slightly puffy.

I put my phone away and continue to read my book. "Let's go to the lunchroom," Bruce suggests. "No thanks," I respond, gently turning my page. He sighs. "Come on," he urges as he stands up. I shake my head no. He sighs and pulls me up. "It wasn't a question," he says and drags me out of the library.
