It was noon, and Terry and I decided to go for a swim in his pool. Terry was swimming laps while I was laying on the float absorbing the sun. After he stopped swimming laps, he sat down on the steps of the pool to smoke a cigar. I got off the float and swam towards him. He lights the cigar and takes a hit. Smoke comes out of his mouth nearly covering his face. I took a seat next to him, "May I?" I asked. He smirked handing me the cigar. I slowly inhaled and exhaled the smoke to the side to avoid burning his eyes.
"You're bad, Lana. Very bad," he whispered the last part getting closer to my face. I shrugged, "Not as bad as you, Mr. Silver." He laughed slipping his hand behind my neck and pulling me closer, giving me a tender kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him closer. I slowly pulled him underwater while still having his lips on mine. While kissing, he carefully slipped his tongue inside my mouth. I repeated his action to him. We kissed underwater for a few seconds before both of us swam back up to the surface to catch our breaths.
We were both panting for air. Droplets of water fell off the tips of Terry's long wavy hair.
"I never understood why you never let your hair down, Terry. It's so beautiful," I mentioned. He looked at me shaking his head, "Because if I let my hair down, I won't look professional. That's why," he declared.
I rolled my eyes, "Whatever you say, Mr. Businessman. You never know. A lot of people can agree with me that letting your hair down every once in a while doesn't mean that you don't look 'professional'."
He scooted closer to me, "That's the thing, Lana. I could care less about other people's opinions." I took the cigar from the plate by the pool and took another hit. There was a moment of silence between us. Just observing the sun reflecting on the water.
"Do you ever wonder about the future?" I asked deep in thought.
"What's there to think about?"
"I don't know, just the thought of an older version of me looking back at the times when nothing really matters is... so scary. What if when all of this," I motioned to our surroundings, "is over and we win the tournament? Will all of us just part ways?"
Terry shrugged, "What, are you planning on 'settling down' someday or some shit like that?" he asked chuckling.
"Hell no," I declared before taking the glass of wine from the tray that lay on the edge of the pool, "I don't understand people who think it's a good idea to 'settle down'. Why would anyone just voluntarily put themselves in a cage they built for themselves?"
He grabbed his glass, clinking with mine, "Cheers to that!" he cheered before taking a sip of his wine. He chugged the wine in one go before setting the glass down, "C'mon we gotta go see Danny Boy." I finished my wine before climbing out of the pool and wrapping a towel around myself.

We drove around in his blue truck, wearing casual clothes. Suddenly, we spotted Danny Boy drinking water from the water fountain with a girl close by him. Terry pulled over, "Hey!" he shouted to get Danny Boy's attention. He turned around facing us, "Oh, hey, yeah, yeah, Jessica, this is uh..." he walked towards us with this Jessica girl by his side, "Mr., uh...I'm sorry what's your name?"
"Terry Silver," he informed him.
"Terry Silver, this is Jessica Andrews, and that's..."
"Lana Isley," I told the kids with a smile. Jessica gasped looking at Danny Boy, "Holy shit! aren't you that supermodel?"
"Yes, I am!" I confirmed for them.
"Hi," Jessica waved at me shyly.
"You two training for the Olympics, or something?" Terry asked.
