❝ DO YOU NEED HELP? ❞
you approached megumi but he ignored you and continued doing his homework.
you were about to sit down beside him, at the kitchen table, but he said, "help me by staying away from me."
you stopped, "attitude..." and muttered as you stood up again. you scanned the entire house again, and saw tsumiki was quietly reading something.
since she looked so focused, you decided to postpone your plan of telling her abnormal stories. "i'm so bored." you exhale as you scanned the living room and, "ah the tv." you grab the remote and make yourself comfortable on the couch.
you turned on the tv, and tried to look for a channel that will entertain you. "i hate cartoons... this movie is shit... their jokes are not funny... oh news? how boring—" you were about to change the channels, but when you saw that picture of a familiar place; you froze.
"is that...!" you leaned at the picture more closely, and soon confirmed... that is definitely the place where you died! although it seems weird. really weird, since right now, "why is it completely destroyed?"
"{two people were killed when the building collapsed...}" the reporter announced, while your mouth dropped. even though it was a blurry picture, you can still recognize those two people VERY WELL.
i mean, how could you not? when they were the ones who tried to kill you! damn. you didn't even know them, before.
you scoffed. they were so strong, "yet they died due to a building collapsing to them? bullshit!" you stared at the tv in disbelief.
you then angrily turned off the tv and switched to your phone.
there you did your research, and just like what the reporter said;
the building on your death place, all collapsed and everything was destroyed. including those two people who killed you. "argh!" you dropped your phone and started groaning.
you weren't satisfied.
"i should be the one! this is so unfair!" you wanted it to be you, who'll get revenge on them. but guess what? a stupid building that collapsed, killed them? you scoffed, again. you knew that wasn't true.
you let out a long sigh before pausing.
"i guess they already know." you murmured as you thought of two people, "gosh, i can't believe they didn't use a curtain."
you lightly shook your head in disappointment, before going to your little brother, and annoying the shit out of him.

❝ IT IS ALL MY FAULT. ❞
yaga went down on his knees as he sincerely apologized in front all of the higher ups, "sorry for not being able to discipline them well."
despite that, one of the higher up ignored his sincerity and shouted,
"what can your sorry even do?! i thought gojo satoru, destroying a big part of a district without a curtain will be the last problem, but— ah my blood." he had to pause and drink some water in order to calm himself down.
"and now you're telling me suguru geto, one of your students as well, killed everyone from that village and fled away?! just what the fuck is wrong with your students!" he shouted as his saliva kept on coming out.
yaga couldn't answer. he just apologized and apologized as he listened to the higher-ups' complaints and rants. he couldn't say anything. but just "sorry." after all, even if he is the teacher of those two, he also has no idea what the heck was going on inside their mind.
although, one things for sure. he knows that they're both mourning.
not just for [y/n].
but also for haibara, the second year student. that just died 2 days ago.
"get out!"
yaga let out a sigh of relief as he got out of that place. he started walking and then stopped, to pause and look at the sky above him. normally, when someone dies, he would grieve and regret, but at the same time would immediately move on and would go back to his normal life.
that's the sad reality for a sorcerer.
that's why he's pretty sure that he'll get over the death of his two students right now, one day. however, he knows. he knows that it will never be the same for those three.
yaga stopped staring above, when he felt another familiar presence behind him. he turned around and oh. he realized that it wasn't only shoko, geto, and gojo, who was affected by all of these terrible events.
"nanami."
yaga stared at the soulless eye of his student. he approached him and looked down at the paper he's holding, only to be surprised at what he saw.
"whats that?" yaga asked, "don't tell me your dropping out?"
nanami quietly nodded. and before yaga could even stop him or comfort him, nanami interrupted him and coldy said, "no matter what you say, i have already decided to leave."
his voice sounded so quiet. so cold. so tired. and so... dead as he continued, "i don't think i can make a difference in the world." 'when i'm just all alone' were the words he didn't let out.
yaga's shoulder dropped, even though nanami told him that no comforting words could make him stay. yaga still tried. tried to make him stay.
but to his dismay, nanami had already made up his mind to leave. and now, for the final straw, yaga chose to say the words he tried to avoid,
"[y/n], geto, and haibara just left us. and now you're leaving too?"
nanami paused, and was quiet for a while. nanami is the type of person whose expression is hard to read. but right now. yaga could immediately read it. scratch that— not only him, but everyone who'll see his face, could tell that he was... sad.
"...you still have shoko who can heal. and the strongest sorcerer alive." was the last word nanami uttered. before he left to start packing his things.
yaga was left hanging. he looked at the sky again, and murmured, "strongest sorcerer alive huh?" he scoffed, "i don't even know where the heck is he right now." he primly closed his eyes as he made a wish;
"i hope he isn't trying to commit suicide out there."
