Nate's pov:
I seriously can't believe she just talked to me like that I hit the locker and walk away I'm meeting Maddy for lunch I sit down next to Maddy and she goes hi babe how's it going with a smile I just ignored her I can't stop staring at Mikaela who does she think she is making a fool out of me. Nobody has talked to me like that normally everyone is scared of me but Mikaela she wasn't. Hey, what's wrong who are you looking at Maddy asks me nothing just a long day in class I eat my food ---------------------------------------------
Third person POV: Mikaela and Alex are on the other side of the cafeteria laughing and talking but she keeps noticing that Nate has his eyes on her she doesn't really care though she's enjoying her time with Alex he's a really sweet guy and they have a lot in common. Hey, what's wrong? Alex asks oh nothing just an idiot staring at me Mikaela says. Alex looks up and he makes eye contact with Nate what's the story about this guy Alex asks I was stupid and I let him in even though he's the school's biggest player Mikaela responds back hey don't worry about him I'll protect you Alex says while stretching his arms out to show his muscles I won't let anything hurt you I promise Mikaela smiles at him and continues their lunch
