Nate's pov: I really can't believe Maddy really embarrassed me like that? I told her to go home and change and to make me look stupid in front of Mikaela ugh I wish she would just shut up she made me so mad that I kinda choked her I don't like being embarrassed. I was heading back to my truck but i saw Mikaela walking back to her car damn that girl is something special and she knew it too the way she walked was like she knew she was a baddie ( which she is) I really need to fix this so I run up to Mikaela before she gets into her car " hey can we talk? " the talk brown hair boy asked " what do you want Nate shouldn't you be with Maddy ? " asked the dark-haired girl " Nah me and Maddy are done look I know we kinda got this whole we hate each other thing going on but I'd really like to be friends can we do that ? " asked Nate " hmm lemme think about it but I have to go home I'll let you know later " said Mikaela she winked as she got into her car and pulled out of the parking lot man there are so many things I'd do to her 😏

Mikaela's pov :
Idk what Nate is up to why would he want to be friends? Does he think I'm stupid? Maddy would be so pissed at me I pulled up in my driveway and I see a truck parked by my house mom and dad are on a date night tonight so I do what I normally do get in my pj's and watch movies but that is the plan changed when I saw Nate standing on the driver's side of his truck
" so did you make up your mind yet gorgeous?" Nate says " if I say yes will you quit being annoying "? I asked he shook his head yes . " ok fine we can be friends " idk what it was at the moment if it was the drinks or the moon shining on him but he looked so handsome he leaned closer to me and grabbed my face and started kissing me at the moment I was frozen then I kissed him back. I know this isn't what friends do and I'm kissing my best friend's ex-boyfriends I know I should feel guilty but at the moment I didn't care right now I just wanted his lips on mine.
