"ok, bye." I replied as I hung up the phone. My parents were telling me how they probably wouldn't be home for another 3 months. I haven't seen my parents in over a year and I honestly don't think they care. It's been like this my whole life, they used to at least come down for birthdays and holidays but now it's just cards in the mail with stacks of cash and half ass apologies.

I decided to put my phone down and make grilled cheese until there was a knock on the door, it was Sarah. "hey!" She said as she hugged me, "hi"bi replied trying my best to smile. "hey are you ok?" She asked, she knew me better then anyone and could tell something was up. "yeah just my parents" I replied as I went to take grilled cheese off the pan and onto a plate.

"well you wanna take your mind off it..? Kelce is having a party if you'd wanna maybe go. Everyone really wants you to!" She pleaded, "Okay sure I guess" I said and her face immediately lit up. "yay!" She said dragging me upstairs as I was trying to take a bite of my food. "Sarah!" I whined, "the party is in an hour you need to look hottt, I mean you already do but like yk what I mean" she said and I rolled my eyes.

Sarah straightened my hair and then picked out the dress she bought me for my 16th cause apparently she said I would need it one day, I guess today is the day. "Sarah there are parties literally every weekend so what's so special about this one?" I asked, "idk, I just think it'd be cool if we were the hottest ones there." She said, "yeah, I doubt that" I laughed considering all the other girls in obx were GORG.

"uh the boys are here let's go" she said checking her phone as we were on my bed.

"hey, you guys look good" Topper said as we got in the truck. Rafe was driving and Topper was in the passenger seat. "thanks" I replied, Sarah and Topper broke up but they were still "friends" kinda. "yeah you look hot" Rafe said focusing on the rode and I rolled my eyes. "how are we getting home?" I asked knowing the boys would get drunk. "Kelce said we could just stay the night" Topper replied and I nodded. "ok."

"welcome guys!" Kelce said clearly drunk putting his arm over my shoulder, Rafe looked mad for some reason. He always looks mad though. "Come on let's go!" Sarah said as she took me to the drinks table. "fuck"I said as I stopped walking, "what?" Sarah said confused as she followed my eyes. "oh fuck it's Jay" she said referring to my abusive ass ex. "Kelce wouldn't invite him" Sarah said pissed. "Yeah, ik." I replied glaring at Jay. "Guys why the fuck is Jay here?" Topper asked walking up to us. "I don't know" we replied. We started just talking to Topper and our friend Kate before we heard arguing and ran to all the commotion. That's where we saw Rafe and Jay fighting. "What's going on?" I asked Kelce and he shrugged. "Shit's about to downn" Kelce said.

"it's not my fault she's a fucking slut!" Jay yelled and that's when Rafe lost it and immediately started beating the absolute shit outta Jay. "Guys!" Sarah yelled, "rafe stop!" I said but he didn't listen as Kelce and Topper tried to pull them off of each other.
Finally Kelce got Rafe off and Jay ran off with his friends. "Wtf dude!" Topper yelled at Rafe. "bro.." Sarah said watching the scene trying to comprehend what just happened. "Why did he do that?" Sarah asked Kelce, "jay was saying shot about Sierra" Kelce said. "What?" I questioned. "Jay was calling you a whore and shit" he said. "ok.." I said confused on why the hell Rafe would beat him up for that.

"Look I'm gonna go find Rafe ok?" I said leaving the duo as they nodded. I went up stairs and that when I saw Rafe trying to clean up the blood with paper towel. "let me help" I said. "No, it's fine" he replied but I didn't listen and went to go get the first aid kit from under the sink. "Sierra I said it's fine." He said but I still didn't listen. "Rafe it's gonna get infected if you only use paper towel, literally also WITHOUT water!" I said signalling him to sit on the counter.

I used hydrogen peroxide and I knew it would burn, "sorry" I said but he didn't reply. "why'd you do that?" I asked and he just ignored me, "rafe" I said. "idk" he replied and I scoffed, "Ok." I said not feeling like starting an argument. "ok I'm all done" I said putting the kit away as I stood up. He just walked out without thanking me. Asshole.
