It was already 8 and we arrived at the bar. Luckily no one asked for ID but I think it's because Ward knows the owner. Rafe led me into a spot in the middle where the bartender was. "hey! What can I get you guys?" The bartender asked looking me up and down making me slightly uncomfortable. I think Rafe noticed. "her eyes are up there bud. I'll have a Corona." He said coldly and I smiled. "I'll have a peach liqueur please." I said quietly and he nodded.

I think he was scared if Rafe. "so why did you deceive to help me today?" I ask, he shrugs "you were a damsel in need" he smiled and I playfully hit him. "idiot" I laughed. If I'm being honest I truly had a nice day today, which is something I haven't ever had with Rafe for like 5 years. "I had a good time today" he said exactly what I had said in my brain.

"Me too" I blush which he notices. "you're cute when your nervous" he says and I roll my eyes "shut up, you're cheesy" I smile again. "Here's your guys'a drinks" the man says putting them down.

One drink turned into two, and then maybe three, okay five maybe. But Rafe cut me off. "We should get out of here" he said, "nooo, I wanna dance!" I whine. "Come on, it's late. Let's walk around the beach" he suggested and my face lit up. "Yes! Let's go" I say jumping out of my chair stumbling before Rafe caught me. "Careful" he said as I laughed at nothing.

The walk over to the beach was only like a minute because it was behind the bar. "oh shit" Rafe said leaving me confused. "I shouldn't have drunken the beer. I can't drive, not with you." He said, "Uber maybe?" I offered but quickly knew no dog would take us to Obx and if they did we didn't wanna be in the car for a billion hours.

"ok.. maybe let's get a hotel? There's one up there" I say pointing to the Hilton that was connected to the bar we at. "yeah, ok." He replied as I grabbed her hand leading up to the hotel.

"hi.." the lady said looking us up and down.
"we need a room for the night" Rafe said. She nodded and typed some things into her computer. "Do you have a reservation?" She asked looking up at us. "No, sorry." He replied and she nodded again typing something. "Considering it is our busiest time of year you guys are luckily I have a few rooms. There is a two bed, or a one bed. I'm guessing you guys want the one-" I cut her off. "No!- sorry I mean we will take the two bed if that's ok." I reply.

She looks at me and Rafe and nods AGAIN typing again. "Cash or Card?" She asked, "card" rafe said quickly so I couldn't try to pay. "ok, it will be $250. In room 312" she replied and he nodded handing her the card in exchange for the key. "Enjoy your stay." She said coldly.

"Sounds like someone hates there job" I roll my eyes as we walk away making Rafe laugh. We found an elevator and got to our room. Me and Rafe had been walking around in the heat all day and I was super sweaty. "I'm gonna take a shower" I say and he says ok as he lays down on the bed farthest from the door.

I take my shower and feel super good after but that's when I remembered I didn't have any clothes to wear. I hesitated for like 5 minutes but eventually did what I had to. "Rafe!" I called out and he walked out as I hid behind the door with only my head peeking out. "Mhm?" He asked looking down on his phone. "So... I kinda like don't have any clothes." I say and he looks up and laughs.

"hey! It's not funny" I say, "wait" he says walking away. He soon comes back with a hoodie and a pair of shorts I know definitely won't fit me. "Here" he passes them to me. "Thank you, I'm sorry. I say and he looks unbothered. "No problem" he shrugs. That's the thing about Rafe, he seems to just let everything slide and he's always chill.

I quickly change and look stupid but at this point I was too tired to care. I walk out of the bathroom and see Rafe in sweatpants shirtless laying look at his phone. I quickly put my stuff down and crawl into bed. 

If I was being completely honest Rafe looked like super hot all day. I hated myself for it but I have wanted to kiss him like all day. Idk if it's the alcohol speaking or what but I wanted him. Right now.

"Goodnight" Rafe said, "night" I replied and turned my back.  Honestly at this point I cousins resist and I stood up. It's like Rafe was reading my mind cause he pulled the blanket over so I could get in.

As soon as I came in he smashed his lips onto mine.
The kiss became heated real quick and I was now straddling him. He started kissing down my neck and I let out a quiet moan. He didn't stop and found my sweet spot making me groan. "Rafe" I said and he hummed.  It's like the universe hates me because all of a sudden Rafe got a call. It was from Maddie.

"Fuck." He grumbled answering the phone.
"What?" He asked. It wasn't on speaker but I could hear her. "Last night was fun, you should come over!" She said making my heart drop. Last night? What the fuck is his problem.

"look I have to go" he said hanging up. I don't think he knew I could hear her until he saw the look on my face. "Sierra-" I cut him off. "No, Rafe it's fine. I just don't wanna be another one of your "girls" ok? I know your reputation and I hate myself for letting whatever "this" is happen. Goodnight Rafe." I say getting up to go to my own bed.

I fell asleep soon thinking about what happened.
Regret was all I felt.
