Chapter 1- The First Meeting

You were running late for work, again. While you were texting your boss, you ran into someone. "I'm so sorry!" You grabbed your phone, and looked up to see these dark red eyes you could stare into forever.

"Watch out." It was a man with fair skin, and long black hair with red tips. He was good looking, that was for sure. He offered you a hand, and you took it.

"Thank you, my apologies for bumping into you!" You yelled back as you continued to run into work. You finally got there, and you heard around that there was someone replacing the boss. That was surprising, the boss hadn't done anything wrong? You decided to ask your best friend, Natasha, what had happened.

"Hey, Natasha, I heard that the boss was getting fired?" Natasha turned around, and she offered a small smile to you. "Apparently he lost a very important client. He got fired for it, I have no idea who's replacing him though." Natasha replied back. It was like nobody knew who was replacing the boss, all you could hope was they were at least nice. Everyone got to work, and you kept losing focus. Natasha was trying to speak to you about something, while you couldn't stop thinking about those red eyes.

"Y/n?" 'How could I be so stupid?' "Y/n!" 'He was really good looking though' "Y/n!!" 'I should've gotten his number' "Y/N!!!" You finally snapped out of it. "Huh? Oh, sorry, yeah" You had to stop thinking of him, you had to get these files done. "Are you okay, y/n? You seem really distracted, that's not like you." She was worried about you, per usual. "Yeah, I'm fine! Just got lost in my thoughts, y'know?" She nodded, before leaning up against your desk. "I heard the new boss was really good looking. He's stopping by later this afternoon! You should go say hi to him!" She was her usual self. You nodded, before getting back to work. You heard a lot of talking outside, so you looked up to see people surrounding the bosses office. Maybe the new boss was here?

You walked into his office, and handed him some files. "Hello, I'm y/n, I'll be-" You looked up to see the exact same man you bumped into earlier. "Hello, y/n. Funny meeting you here." He wasn't very welcoming. He was serious, and tough. "Uh- yeah, sorry about earlier." You laughed a little bit, and you swear you saw a slight smile spread across his face. "I'll be your assistant, so if there's anything you need, you ask me." You smile at him, and he nods back.

"Alright, y/n." You go back to your office, but before you do, you glance back at him. You can see him smiling to himself, his smile was just amazing. You could stare at it for hours, and never get tired. You see Natasha waiting for you. "So, how did it go? Did you get his number? Is he cute?!?!?!" She was getting excited. "Calm down Natasha! No, I didn't get his number, but yes, he's really cute!" She squeals. "Oh my gosh! You should've gotten his number!" You both were acting like teenage girls, but you didn't care. You do have to admit, you did regret not getting his number, but there was always next time.

After all, this was just The First Meeting.
