CHAPTER 18 - ALEX?

     We got to the town really early in the morning so we all had to wake up around 6:30 am. The driver dropped everyone off at their homes and I stayed with Georg. We walked into the house to his mom was already awake. I was still super nervous around his family, they were ok with me staying with them since Georg told them about my situation. "Hey guys! How's the trip been so far?" Mrs. Listing asked us. "It's been great mom, but we are tired." Georg told her and I smiled at her. "I get it. Your room is clean Georg. Of course I had to clean it." Mrs. Listing said as she started cooking breakfast. "I'll start cleaning it now that y/n is staying with us." Georg said and we went to his room. His mom really deep cleaned it. "Do you wanna go back to sleep?" Georg asked as he sat besides me on the bed. "No I can't go back to sleep." I told him. "Okay, I'll stay up to then." Georg told me and I put my head on his shoulder. "If you're tired go to sleep." I told him. "Nope. We can go watch something in the living room while waiting for my mom to finish cooking." Georg said as he grabbed my hand and took me to the living room. We sat down on the couch and Georg turned on the tv. "I thought you guys were going to go back to sleep?" Mrs. Listing asked. "Nah, where is dad?" Georg asked. "Work. Come eat!" She responded to him while putting food on the table. We ate then went back to watching TV while Georg's mom did stuff around the house. A couple hours later I decided to meet up with Ellie at a cafe. "I'll be back around 3:30 pm ok?" I told Georg as I finished getting ready. "Okay be safe and call me if you need anything at all. You sure you don't want me to drive you there?" Georg said grabbing me by my waist. "Ellie is on the way I'm sure. I'll be ok don't worry." I told him giving him a kiss. "Stay here until she is here." Georg said just as my phone started ringing. "That's her. I gotta go." I said. Georg gave me another kiss before I left and got into Eleanor's car.

      I hugged Ellie for a long time once I got into the car I missed her so much. "Your birthday is in two days!!!!" Ellie said with excitement. "I know! I hope the guys remember." I told her as she started driving. "I'm sure they will! I've missed you so much!" Ellie said. "I missed you more trust me." I said as I turned on some music. "I believe you!" She said and we started singing until we got to the cafe. "Find a table I'll order our drinks and snacks." Ellie said after we got into the cafe. I found a table by the window. We normally sat here when someone hadn't taken it. After a few minutes Eleanor came back with our drinks. "So how long will you guys be here for?" She said sipping on her matcha latte. "Three days. Free day today, concert tomorrow, then another free day here." I told her. "Great you'll be here for your birthday! We gotta have a party at my place." "Of course! I'm so glad I don't have to be in a crammed bus for my birthday." I repsond to her laughing. I looked out the window at enjoy the sunny weather today then I saw my mom. "Ellie look." I said as I pointed to my mom. "Shit. Wanna leave?" Eleanor asked. "No she won't see me." I said. I didn't want my mom to ruin my time with my best friend. We chatted for an hour before deciding to leave. Just as we left the cafe I bumped into somebody. "Sorry!" I said. "Y/n!" I looked up and saw Elijah. My brother. "Oh hey Elijah." I said with an awkward tone. I looked at Ellie. "Where have you been?" Elijah asked. "Don't worry about it. Where's mom?" I asked hoping she wouldn't be around. "She's the shop besides here. "Ok well I gotta go, nice seeing you." I told Elijah as I tried to leave but then I heard my moms voice. "Y/n?" She asked. I ignored her but then she grabbed my arm as I started walking. "Let her go." Ellie said giving my mom a death stare. "Please can we talk?" My mom said. "No. I don't want anything to do with you!" I told her as I snatched my arm away. "Please!" She shouted as me and Ellie started speeding to her car. As we got into the car we looked at each other and started laughing. "She is crazy." Eleanor told me. "I know! She's acting like nothing happened." I told her as Ellie started the car. "You gonna tell Georg you bumped into her?" Ellie asked me as she started driving. "Nope! Let's go to your house I miss your dog!" I told her as I turned the music up. We got to her house and I immediately ran to her dog. "Hi Rex I missed you!" I said as I picked him up. He was still a puppy but he was still bigger than the last time I saw him. "He is getting to big."  I told Ellie. "I know it's so sad! But guess what." Ellie said as she walked into the kitchen. I put Rex down and Ellie pulled a positive pregnancy test out of a drawer. "YOUR PREGNANT?!?" I shouted. "OMG NO!!! MY MOM IS!" She yelled back at me and I started laughing. "My bad! How far along is she?" I asked. "3 months. I'm so excited to be a big sister. Being a only child is boring." Ellie told me and she hopped onto the counter. "Wait until the baby is screaming at 4 am." I told her with a little shove. It was around 4:00 pm. Then I heard my phone buzz. "Georg is calling, give me a minute." I told Ellie as I picked up the phone.

                               -Call started-
Y/n - "Yea?"

Georg - "Where are you??"

Y/n - "Ellie's house. Sorry I forgot to tell you."

Georg - "Okay good I was worried."

Y/n - "Sorry. I'll be home soon."

Georg - "Take your time at her house. I don't wanna rush you. Have fun. I love you."

Y/n - "I love you too!"
                              -Call ended-

       "Do you have to go?" Ellie asked me once I put the phone down. "No but I'm gonna head out anyways. Ill see you at the concert." I told Ellie and gave her a hug. Georg didn't live to far from Eleanor so I just walked there. I was a couple houses down from Georg's place before I got shoved to the hard concrete. "Hey y/n. Glad your back." I could tell who said it but the voice was familiar. I got violently flipped onto my back. "Alex?? Get off of me!!" I said trying to shove him off me. "You should've been with me! I've been looking for you!" Alex said as he slammed me into the ground again. "Alex you're hurting me back off!!!" I shouted. "No!!" Alex yelled while pulling something sharp out of his pocket. "HELP ME!!!" I screamed praying someone would come out. "You really should've been with me y/n." Alex said as he shoved the sharp object into my side. I screamed in pain. Someone came out on the porch. "What's going on???" The man on his porches asked. Alex stabbed me one more time before jumping off of me and running away. I slowly slipped out of consciousness as I heard the man screaming.
