Todoroki doesn't waste a moment creating a line of ice spikes towards Izuku, however izuku breaks this line by making a shock wave from his finger, almost sending Todoroki out of bounds

Izuku continues to brute force through all of Todoroki's attacks. Seeing that his ice wall strategy isn't working Todoroki uses his ice to close the distance between the two. However Izuku is able to dodge and land encounter attack, however Todoroki simply uses his ice to stop himself from flying out of bounds
Todoroki continues with his close range assault but then Midoriya lands a hard punch to his gut
Present Mic: a solid punch! That's the kind of action I like to see!
