"Good morning, Silvia" Ms. Radu greeted my with smile on her face.
"Come in!" welcomed me Theodor.
"Uhm, I just wanted to check on you and brought you something sweet. How you feel today?"
"Thank you, Silvia, I'm better, but I think I'll skip a few days at school to give my ankle a rest."
"That's understandable. So, I'll leave the tidbits here and I'm gone. Let me know if you need anything. Get well soon." I said hastily, trying not to look in Theodor's eyes.
"You're leaving? So soon? You can stay..."
"I'll be going, I see that you are busy. Bye!"
I left the room, feeling a mixture of curiosity, longing, and a tinge of disappointment. I couldn't bring myself to stay and see how he reacted. The feelings of yesterday were still lingering in my heart. Seeing him with Ms. Radu, especially in that setting, stirred a sense of uncertainty within me. I didn't know what I was exactly feeling towards him. I didn't know what was the nature of his relationship with Ms. Radu and didn't have a clue where to start to find out. I was in a kind of a limbo. In this kind of situation, there is only one solution, one thing, which could help to move things forward. Coffee.
I went to the Atelier. I ordered my usual drink and found a seat near the counter, where Jann greeted me with a warm smile.
"Hey, Silvia! How's it going? You seem lost in thought today."
I sighed. "Yeah, Jann. It's been quite a whirlwind lately. So much happened in the last few days."
"But did you enjoy the party last night? You know, except that blackout incident."
"I did but it messed with my heart."
Jann leant on the counter. "Ah, the joys and complexities of matters of the heart. Tell me, what's been on your mind?"
"It's complicated... I'm not sure what to make of it all."
Jann: thoughtfully "So what disperses such a fog the best?"
"Uhmm, coffee?"
"Yes, here's your favourite." He handed me a steaming cup of liquid inspiration. "And after coffee?"
It took me a while, but I figured it eventually.
"Writing! That's a great idea, dear Jann! Writing was always my escape, it had a way of helping me understand myself better."
I reached into my bag and pulled out my notebook. I think it's time to take charge and finish that story I started. Who knows, maybe it'll even help me make sense of this mess."
I flipped through the pages of my notebook until I found the draft of the story I had started on the day she first met Theodor. As I read the words I had written, I felt a surge of inspiration. I smiled, feeling a sense of determination welling up within me. The cafe buzzed around me, but in that moment, I was immersed in my own world, in my own story, ready to write my way towards clarity and understanding.
Once upon a time, in a bustling city filled with dreams and possibilities, there was a young girl named Hazel. She was an ordinary girl, her heart beating to the rhythm of her own dreams, yet she often felt lost in the sea of faces that surrounded her.
One fateful day, as Hazel walked into a cozy cafe, she stumbled and fell to the ground. It seemed like a trivial incident, but little did she know that it would change the course of her life forever.
A boy, with his glasses and long dark hair, extended his hand to help Hazel up. He introduced himself, his name was Alexander...
Hm, I should change his name probably.
