Courage and Love (A Klaine love story)

Chapter 9

~Kurt~

I never imagined I'd be standing in Blaine's bedroom kissing him, but I am and I can't believe I'm really his boyfriend. I pull away to catch my breath.

"Maybe we should slow down before we do something I'm not ready for." I say feeling the heat on my cheeks.

"Kurt your blushing." He teases.

"Its just I've never had a boyfriend before. You're the first person I have ever even kissed. And as much as I love doing that. I just don't want to go too fast. I don't want to screw this up. I just don't want to lose you." I say looking away.

"Kurt your the first guy I've ever kissed. I'm new at this too. Your not going to screw this up and you aren't going to lose me. I care about you. I actually think I'm falling for you." I look up at him as he pulls me back to face him.

"Well I hope you can tell I'm falling for you?" I say smiling.

"I had a thought you might be." He teases.

I smack his arm playfully before lightly kissing his lips. "Come on let's get this mess cleaned up downstairs." I say before leaving his room.

"Kurt I think I hear your phone buzzing." Blaine says as he throws the last of the garbage in the bag.

"Oh, it may be my dad checking in on me." I grab my jacket and pull out my phone. I have 6 missed calls from my dad.

"Blaine I need to call my dad back I'm just gonna step outside." He nods and I step outside on the porch.

"Kurt, why haven't you answered my calls. I have been worried son." I hear relief in his voice.

"Dad I'm sorry I had my phone on vibrate. I didn't hear it." I tell him quickly.

"Are you ok? He says.

"Yeah we have just been hanging out." I tell him.

"Kurt I'm sorry I just worry about you more since your mother..." His voice trailed off in a whisper. I know how hard losing mom was to both of us.

"Dad it's ok I know. I'm sorry but I promise I'm fine." I reassure him.

"Your friend is he still bringing you home tomorrow right?" He asks.

"Yep I really want you to meet him he's a good friend." I say wishing I could tell him he was more than just a friend but I can't just come out to my dad on the phone.

" Well I'll see you tomorrow. I love you Kurt."

"I love you too, dad." I hang up the phone and head back inside.

"Hey everything ok?" Blaine asks as I walk back in the living room.

"Yeah he was just worried about me." I say smiling up at him.

"I made popcorn thought we could watch a movie. How would you feel about watching Aladdin? I know it's a Disney movie but it's one of my favorites." He says grabbing my hand and walking me to his couch.

"I'd love that." I say. He smiles bigger and goes to put it in. He dims the lights and I snuggle into him. Laying in his arms makes me feel so complete. If this is a dream I hope I never wake up.
