Scooby-Doo! I Choose You!: That's Snow Ghost!

Chapter 2

When they all got into the cave, everyone was looking around. They all were looking at each item curiously.

"What a strange cave." Daphne says

"Yeah." Shaggy comments. "Like, furnished in 'Early Hoennian'."

Velma was getting quite a good look at some of the items, managing to pin down their origins.

"This stuff isn't from Hoenn, Shaggy, it's stuff o the Pearl clan form the Hisui era of Sinnoh's history." Velma comments

Fred sighed.

"Well, it's for sure the Snow Ghost doesn't live here." Fred stated

"Then who does?" Shaggy asks

Scooby was sniffing around, trying to find possible clues. Velma then picked up a stick to ring the gong.

"Maybe if we ring this gong, we can figure that out." Velma says

Velma gave it a swing and rang the gong, and from the curtains, came an elderly an likely from Sinnoh. And he seemed to be in his 60s.

"Who dares enter the temple of Fu Lan Chi?" Chi asks

"RIPES!!!" Scooby yelped, hiding behind Shaggy and shaking

"I know this sounds silly, but we were following this thing called the Snow Ghost." Daphne says

"Yeah, and we thought he might've come in here." Fred comments

Mr. Chi began looking at them all, a seemingly skeptical look on his face. Shaggy being the first to notice the face.

"Like, I don't think he believes us." Shaggy comments

"I know you speak the truth." Mr. Chi says. "For I am the one the Snow Ghost seeks."

Everyone looked a bit confused. Why would a ghost be after such an elderly man?

"Many years ago in the area now known as Sinnoh, I came face to face with a beast known as Abomasnow." Mr. Chi began explaining. "I had leaped across a wide gorge to the safety of a narrow ledge! He tried to jump to me but fell to the bottom of the gorge. However, I had not seen the last of him. For his ghost....returned to seek revenge. I was forced to flee for my life, an now, after all these years of hiding, he has found me once again."

Everyone but Fred seemed a little bit shook by the spooky tale.

"Sir, I have a feeling this Snow Ghost is after something besides you." Fred says. "And we're gonna find out what it is."

Later, the gang were back in their sno-cars, exploring, to either find what the ghost was after or the ghost itself.

"Do you believe that story Mr. Chi told us?" Daphne asks

"Well, right now, it's the only story we have." Fred says

Velma spotted more tracks on the ground.

"Hey, wait a minute! Stop!" Velma says

And so they stopped, getting a good look at the tracks.

"There's some more of the Snow Ghost's footprints. And they're covered in sawdust!" Velma says

"Sawdust?" Shaggy comments. "Maybe he works in the meat market!"

Fred thought before getting an idea in his head.

"Well, where there's sawdust, there's usually a sawmill." Fred comments

"And I'll bet you that's where we'll find those footprints came from." Velma stated

Scooby whimpered a little. When following the tracks to where they came form, they found themselves at an old sawmill. One that had clearly seen better days.

"This place looks more like a scaremill than a sawmill." Shaggy comments

"it looks like t's been abandoned for at least 100 years." Daphne says

"And I'm for keeping it abandoned!" Shaggy states. "Let's get out of here!"

"Reah! Reah reah reah!" Scooby responds

"Not before we get to the bottom of this mystery." Fred says. "Let's split up and search this place."

When they had gone into the sawmill and split up, Fred went with Daphne, and Velma went with Scooby and Shaggy. Scooby adn Shaggy were trying to whistle to keep themselves from losing it. However, they didn't know that the Snow Ghost was watching them from behind some logs.

Velma opened up a door that creaked with it's hinges.

"Come on, you Wimpods." Velma comments

As they explored, Scooby ended up yelping and jumping into Shaggy's arms. However, when they looked to see what  scared him, it was just a broken mirror.

"Oh, Scooby, that's just your reflection in a broken mirror." Velma says

Scooby giggled a little and hopped down to the floor and began goofing around around the mirror. While he wasn't paying attention, first, Velma was snatched up by the Snow Ghost from around the corner and he heard her muffling.

"RVelma?!??" Scooby yelped, looking around

Then, a trapdoor opened under Shaggy.

"Yipe!!" Shaggy yelped

"Raggy?!??" Scooby questioned, looking around. "RVelma??!??? RAGGY?!!?!??!??"

Scooby whimpered and sniffed, two of his best friends in the world just up and vanished on him and he had no clue what to do.
