Prologue

Rose Grant gave birth to her's and Klaus's daughter Artemis on 9th of March 2003. After accidentally using her magic to allow Klaus to temporarily procreate by being a chaos witch, which are extremely rare and powerful. Rose never told Klaus about Artemis, for Artemis's and her safety, since vampires and some witches have been trying to wipe-out the chaos witch species. When Artemis was two a vampire had compelled a human to kill her mother, knowing Rose would hesitate to hurt/killing a human, her mother had told her to use her magic to find her father before she died, Artemis emotions were overwhelmed by seeing her mother die causing her the lose control over her magic killing the human. Artemis did a locater spell, after putting her mother to rest, finding her father in Italy she used her magic to teleport to Italy. Klaus had been painting in his art room when he heard a small heartbeat in his home causing him to go downstairs seeing Artemis. "Hi I'm Artemis"
