Klaus/Alaric is at the door with Maddox. Katherine is making coffee "I'll be back as soon as I can." Klaus's witch Maddox says "Yes, do hurry. I'm anxious to get out of this body. And if you get hung up, call me. You know how impatient I get and make sure you bring her." Klaus/Alaric says Maddox leaves. Klaus/Alaric closes the door. "Where is he going, and who is her?" Katherine asks, She holds out her coffee for Klaus. "To retrieve me. So I can get out of this bad hair-do and she is none of your business." Klaus/Alaric says "Are you sure that's a good idea, Klaus?" Katherine asks "Well, the full moon is almost upon us." Klaus/Alaric says, He puts the moonstone on the table, "I've killed the witch, I have the moon stone, and the doppelgänger is waiting in the wings. Ohh, I am ready to break this curse." Klaus/Alaric says "And why would you do that here? There's so many people that would try to stop you." Katherine asks "Because I have to. It's the birthplace of the doppelgänger" Klaus/Alaric says "I didn't realize that was a requirement" Katherine says "Well, how could you? You betrayed me and fled England before I could give you the details, Katerina. But I did find your birthplace and I slaughtered your family. So I guess we're cool. Let's just hope that Elena isn't as stupid as you were." Klaus/Alaric says. "She won't run. She'll die before she lets anyone that she loves get hurt." Katherine says "And that's exactly what I'm counting on." Klaus/Alaric says. He compels her, "You can't leave until I tell you to." Klaus/Alaric says He leaves.

Gilbert Residence
Klaus/Alaric is chopping some food with a big knife. Jenna and Stefan are looking at him. "You know, I find chopping...calming. The feel of the blade in the hand, maybe." Klaus/Alaric says "I'm still waiting for someone to tell me what the hell's going on." Jenna says "Well, would you like to tell her, Stefan, or should I?" Klaus/Alaric asks "Tell me what?" Jenna asks "Do you believe in vampires, Jenna? No?" Klaus/Alaric asks, He laughs. "Well, who does, right? But believe it or not, they do have a place in our history. And as a history teacher, I find them fascinating." Klaus/Alaric says "Why are we talking about this?" Jenna asks Klaus/Alaric: Well, you've been angry with me for keeping secrets, and this is one of my secrets. I'm obsessed with vampires. There. I said it." Klaus/Alaric says He laughs. "Are you joking?" Jenna asks "Not at all. How about you, Stefan? Are you a fan of vampires?" Klaus/Alaric asks "In literature. Bram Stoker. It's dense, but I appreciate it." Stefan says "Hmm. Did you know that vampires are the oldest creatures of the night? Except for werewolves, of course." Klaus/Alaric "Werewolves. Werewolves. Now I know you're joking." Jenna says "You know, I've read that there's an Aztec curse on both species that keeps werewolves slaves to the Moon and vampires bound by the Sun. Isn't that right, Stefan? You know, they say these creatures would do anything to have this curse broken and that they wouldn't care who they had to kill to do it." Klaus/Alaric says Jenna looks at him alarmed.

Alaric/Klaus, Jenna and Stefan are sitting at the table having dinner. "Oh, I know this all sounds so crazy, but...vampires are real. Would you care for some more wine?" Klaus/Alaric says, He gets up to get a bottle of wine for Jenna. "Get out." Jenna says "Excuse me?" Klaus/Alaric asks "I don't know what it is you're trying to do or why you're saying these things, but..." Jenna says "Jenna..." Klaus/Alaric says "I said get out!" Jenna says, Stefan gets up. "You heard her." Stefan says "I'm afraid I don't want to." Klaus/Alaric says "Fine! I'll go." Jenna says Klaus/Alaric picks up a kitchen knife off the counter. "You're not going anywhere." Klaus/Alaric says, Stefan grabs him and pushes him against the wall with his super speed and puts the knife on his throat. "Stefan!" Jenna exclaims "Jenna, get out of here now!" Stefan says "You can't kill me, Stefan." Klaus/Alaric says "Watch me!" Stefan says "Stefan!" Jenna exclaims "I may not have a witch protecting me today, but if you kill this body, what's to stop me from choosing Jenna as my next one?" Klaus/Alaric says "Jenna, go." Stefan says "But you're...you..." Jenna Says, He looks at her. His face has changed. "I said go!" Stefan shouts, She runs out of the house. "Kill me. Just remind Elena how easy it will be for me to get my revenge if she tries to stop me from breaking this curse." Klaus/Alaric says, Stefan punches him in the face and once Klaus/Alaric is on the floor, he kicks him in the stomach. He throws the knife on the floor and leaves.

The music is very loud. Katherine is drinking from the bottle of bourbon and dancing. Suddenly she hears someone at the door. Klaus/Alaric enters. When he looks in the room he sees Katherine is sitting motionless on the couch.

Klaus/Alaric: "You mind turning that down?" Klaus/Alaric asks, She uses the remote to turn down the music. "Why so grumpy?" Katherine asks "Well, this body has outlived its usefulness." Klaus/Alaric says "Do you want a drink?" Katherine asks "No, Katerina, I don't want a drink." Klaus/Alaric says "Come on. It might loosen you up." Katherine says, She offers him the bottle. He takes it and throws it against the wall, smashing it. He compels her. "What I want is for you to sit down and shut up." Klaus/Alaric says, She sits down on the couch. Maddox arrives. "Maddox, what took you so long?" Klaus/Alaric says "You've got a lot of luggage." Maddox says, Two men enter with luggage. A woman and a child enters too.

Greta. Finally." Klaus/Alaric says Klaus/Alaric knells down to the child "Hello little wolf" "Hello papa" Klaus daughter Artemis says, "Hello, love. Nice body. You ready to get out of it?" Greta says, Two other men arrive with a giant wooden crate. Katherine looks at the child in shock.

Maddox and Greta are on their knees casting a spell. There are lit candles all around them. Klaus/Alaric is standing next to the box, his head bowed and eyes closed, Artemis is watching, Katherine is looking at them. Phasmatos Tribum, Nas Ex Veras, Uenes Phasmatos Et Sonos. Ex Tutam Exum Lamia Matus." Maddox and Greta chant, They stop and look at Alaric. He opens his eyes and looks at Katherine. "Elena?" Alaric says, He collapses. Maddox stands up and opens the box. Klaus walks out of it and looks down at Alaric. "Now that's more like it." Klaus says, He smiles at Artemis, She smiles back at him.
