Derek, Spencer and Adelaide are sitting in the bullpen, all at their separate desks. Adelaide's desk being opposite Derek's and next to Spencer's although leaving a walk way between them. Adelaide was in her usual 'uniform' except wearing a light blue blouse and her hair is curled making it appear shorter, sitting on her shoulders.

Derek is going through a case file, Adelaide sorting them out into different piles and Spencer was playing chess by himself as Gideon walks downs the steps.

Moving a piece on the check board he says, "Check. Checkmate in three moves." Walking away.

"What?" Spencer mutters, looking at the board in confusion.

Morgan put the file he was just looking at down, turning to the young doctor. "You know you'll beat him when you start learning." He says.

"Learning what?" Spencer asks.

"To think outside the box." Adelaide states still sorting files. "Spence, you're a genius. You'll beat him eventually." Looking up, giving him a reassuring smile.

He gives a small one back, wondering if she was just saying that to make him feel better.

"Question for you." Elle says walking out of Gideon's office, down the steps.

"Shoot." Derek says.

"The footpath killer, why did he stutter?" She asks.

"Come on Elle, we've all asked him and he won't say. He wants us to figure it out." Derek states.

"To be honest, I don't think he knows himself." Adelaide mutters.

"Okay. I'm up for a challenge." Elle says confidently, leaning on her desk.

"Good, because these go to you." JJ says putting a pile of files on Elle's desk. "Special agent Jennifer Jareau, JJ, if you like." Holding her hand out.

Elle shakes it, "Elle."

"Greenaway. Highest number of solved cases in Seattle three years running, speciality in sex offenders case." JJ says, nodding her head as she finishes speaking.

"Not bad."

"Well I'm the unit liaison. My speciality is untangling bureaucratic knots. You'll probably be talking to me a lot. My doors always open, mostly because I'm never in my office." JJ says walking away toward Hotch's office. "So just call my cell. Okay? We'll talk."

"Did you watch it?" JJ asks Hotch as he starts walking out of his office.

"Yeah I think everybody should see it." He says turning towards the bullpen looking at the four agents still walking towards the conference room, "BAU team, can you meet me in the conference room, please? I need to show you something." He states sternly, the agents begin to follow him.

"This is from the Phoenix office. Bradshaw college in Tempe, six fires in seven months." Hotch says.

"Who recorded it?" Gideon asks.

"A student with a digital camcorder. He was watching a fire in the building across from their dorm. The other person you'll see is his roommate, twenty year old Matthew Rowland." JJ states before starting the video.

Everyone turns towards the screen, "this is crazy." The student in the video says watching the two fires happen. "Hey Matt, get over here. You gotta see this. The buildings on fire."

"Bro, are you getting this?" Matthew asks, bending his head into the camera frame.

"Is that the kid?" Gideon asks.
