Sitting in his office chair, Von wrapped up his work after being at the office all day. He was a businessman who owned a few car shops around the city, but it was just a cover-up for being one of the biggest kingpins in Atlanta.

Grabbing a duffle bag full of money ready to count it from the deal he made just this morning. Turning around, he opened a cabinet and grabbed his money counter. Setting everything up, he placed the stack of money in the machine, letting it count.

The machine whirred to life, quickly processing the bills. Von watched the digital display as the numbers climbed higher, reflecting the amount of money being counted. Within moments, the machine beeped, signaling that it had finished counting. Von glanced at the final total displayed on the screen, satisfied that the deal had indeed been profitable.

After the machine confirmed the count, Von took the stack of money and organized it by denomination, ensuring everything was in order.

Hearing a knock at the door, his head turned to look at his camera feed before telling the person to come in. He soon realized it was just Durk, who had already let himself in.

Durk walked in carrying a briefcase that hinted at more business to discuss. Von greeted him
With a nod, gesturing for him to take a seat and to show him what was in the case. Durk sat down and placed the briefcase on the table, opening it to reveal a stack of documents.

"Got some mo deals lined up for tomorrow"Durk said, sliding the papers over to Von.

Von held a grin on his face, holding his hand out to dap up Durk. "See this what I like to hear on this good evening," he said, letting out a chuckle.

Durk chuckled,"You know I always come through with the good shit," he replied, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

"Aye did yall ever get a drop on them niggas that wired that money outta them accounts" Von asked still counting money up. "Nah never did Luca talking bout some shit with the service towers pinging from different countries or some shit"

Shaking his head Von licked over his plumped lips. "They needa get on that shit asap ain't playing bout my money" Von spoke once again now irritated

"Im finna text em now but, how Cari doing mane? Any updates on ha?" Durk raised his eyebrows, concern evident in his expression. pulling out his phone.

"Same shit they been saying, but they talm bout she's showing more brain activity," Von replied, his tone thoughtful. The news seemed to bring a glimmer of hope in the midst of uncertainty

"She gonna be ight, mane. But Im finna go see what they got going down there. you leaving after this?" Durk asked pointing to the money Von was counting. Von nodded before Durk stood up,dapping him up "ight be safe I'll stay and watch these niggas for a lil bit".

Von nodded his head once again to caught up into counting as Durk walked out.

He finished up counting the rest of the money and checked the documents Durk had dropped off before securing everything in his safe. After logging out of his computers, he grabbed his keys and his gun stuffing it back into his pants.

Walking out of his office, he locked up and headed towards the elevator. Getting to the bottom floor the elevator doors opened to where some of his crew were arriving. "Aye, you gone, Von?" Dee asked. "Hell yeah, got shit to handle. Y'all stay safe and make sure my money's in by tonight," Von replied firmly.

With that, he walked outside, hopping into his Hellcat, revving it up and roaring to life.

Pulling out, Von made his way onto the freeway, his first stop being the hospital. Weaving his way through traffic, he made it to the hospital within 15 minutes.

Turning off the engine, Von got out of his car and headed through the hospital doors straight into the elevator to the top floor, where he had Syncari on a private floor with private doctors.

This had been a constant routine for him since Syncari was in a coma, going on 3 months now. Her condition barely changed by the day. Walking into the room, Von placed a kiss on her forehead before going to sit on the couch that was by her bed.

Not long after he got himself situated, the nurse came in to do the nightly check-up on her, giving her the proper fluids and changing the bandages on some of her wounds that were now healing and clearing up.

Von couldn't help but stare at her face. He loved it and couldn't wait to kiss all over it when she finally woke up. Her skin was coffee brown, her eyebrows thick but shaped so perfectly, her eyes almond-shaped with long natural eyelashes, her nose the perfect fit for her face, and her lips pink and plump. He couldn't get enough of her face; he so badly wanted her to wake up.

Von sat with her for another hour and a half before deciding to go home. He honestly would have stayed the night again, but he had to be up early tomorrow morning.

Getting up, he stretched his body out before walking over to the side of the bed, placing another kiss on her forehead. He then grabbed her hand, silently saying a prayer and kissing her hand after.

Walking out of the room, he headed toward the elevator.

This part always got to him because he so badly wanted her to just be up and moving again and coming home with him, but he knew in all good time she would be up.

Getting into his car, he sped off, making his way home, ready to take a shower and lay in his bed. Even though he liked staying in the hospital, the couch wasn't comfortable at all, even though it was a full lay-out bed. To him, it was nothing like sleeping in your own bed.

Making his way up his driveway, he opened his garage, parked his car, and immediately headed upstairs to his room.

Getting into his room, he took his gun out of his pants along with the rest of his things.

Walking into his bathroom, he got a shower ready, itching by the second to feel clean after being out all day.
