It had been a year since [Name] left her home in Hawaii to start her family business in Metro City. It all began when her mom made her go to Metro City to outsource their family restaurant. At first, the sight of New York intimidated her, but the Hawaiian girl remained calm and persistent with her goal of outsourcing the family business. [Name]'s first friend had been Luke Sullivan, a man who had gone through a lot but still made time to help start her business. He helped name and renovate the building [Name] used as the restaurant, naming it The Hula Hale. A perfect mix of Hawaiian dance and an ancient Hawaiian home.
That same day, she had been attacked by someone with a box covering their face. [Name] at the time had forgotten much of her martial arts techniques, so flight had taken over. That was when she met Chun-Li, Li Fen, and Jamie Siu. Chun-Li had given the Hawaiian girl her grandma's Hawaiian doll to put on the shelf in her restaurant to pay homage to the woman who started the business chain. The two Chinese ladies had helped her recover from the incident while Jamie was the one who saved her ass some time. They were also one of the many first customers at the Hula Hale one week after, and this was where [Name] began to build bonds with everyone else. What brought Jamie and [Name] closer in friendship was the $20 tip a week after they met.
Following that day, it was an elaborate setup; Damnd, a member of the Mad Gear Gang, kidnapped [Name]. Thankfully, Luke, Jamie, and two others. Manon and Lily were aware when they heard a scream. Manon was a French judoka champion and model. Lily was a descendant of the Thunderfoot Tribe, started by Thunder Hawk. This moment was also an introduction to the more unhinged side of the man from Hong Kong. With his jacket unzipped, face flushed, pupils blown, and hair down, the thought hadn't left [Name]'s head since that day. But ever since the attack, she too wanted to defend herself from the evil gang members and others that lurked in the city. But [Name] had no idea that her new taekwondo instructor, Juri Han, wouldn't spare her one bit.
A month after, [Name] had been invited to a sleepover, where she met other people; Marisa, Ken, Ryu, and Kimberly Jackson. All were nice in their respectful ways, having different personalities. Marisa was bold and surprisingly nice for an Italian woman with a gladiator history. Ken was Ryu's friend, now on the run from the authorities. Ryu was a calm and collected man, having not succumbed to the Satsui no Hado, and he stayed true to his humble self. That night was filled with horror movies, games of Uno, and Mario Kart Wii races. They had pizza and various drinks. But upon hearing about sleeping partners, [Name] had gotten stuck with Jamie, which wasn't to her delight. She had a massive crush on him ever since the whole "abduction incident." But that night, she also confessed her tongue-knotted love for him, leading to their first kiss.
In the days and weeks that followed, Jamie and [Name] began to feel a lot closer than when they first kissed that fateful night. She'd gotten into a single street fight with a man from Amnesia, claiming her very first victory. They unknowingly stepped into the same bathhouse room, leading into their first time having steamy alone time. But soon, disaster struck. Sharon Carter had been at the bathhouse that day, and she saw [Name] carry Jamie out of their room, soon collapsing, yelling that he had taken her leg privileges. Hearing it, she abducted the Hawaiian girl, taking her to Hollywood to hopefully teach her a lesson. But the news hadn't gone unheard. [Name]'s mother was aware, while she was mad at first, and called Sharon to ask what she was up to. Her intentions weren't good, so the mother called for Ryu and his friends to rescue her daughter, leading to a trip around the mansion interior, a few rounds of feral and messy alone time, and confronting a toxic ex-boyfriend. Like before, [Name] got to meet more friends, and she began creating close bonds with these people. But this wasn't the end of the story.
...
8:18 AM. [Name] yawned and sat up in her bed, hearing people clean in the kitchen. Her business was a success; people from all over the nation were coming to try The Hula Hale's diverse Hawaiian dishes. The father had become the head bartender, assisting the recruits when they needed the most help, or when they needed it in general. The mother helped out in the kitchen, slicing salmon, frying potatoes, and filling glasses for the customers. [Name], now and then, would look at her parents, smiling to herself. "We've come a long way. From being separated by corruption to back under one roof," she thought.
