The day after the two finished remodeling the place, [Name] hung the "open" sign on her window and flipped it over to let people know that her restaurant was open. She stood back and marveled at how good everything looked. From the menu to the seats, from the wall decorations to the calm island music playing on the speakers. By then, people had come by and become waiters and cooks for [Name]'s restaurant. "I hope Luke put the posters up. He was a big help for me. I'd hate to see things go to waste," she muttered to herself.

However, something felt off. No one was coming immediately. But, what could she do about it? She just opened up. [Name] sighed and walked to the front door, taking in the sight of New York and Metro City. She looked to her left, then her right, hoping Luke would pop up with a big smile on his scarred face. All of a sudden, someone grabbed her right wrist tightly, pulling her aside. It was a man with a box over his head! "Hello, cutie pie~" he cooed.

The box head's grip was getting tighter and tighter by the second. [Name] began to panic. She wanted to release all of her knowledge over taekwondo, but there was a problem. She forgot almost everything. "Oh, crap," she thought.

The box head was about to throw a punch when [Name] ducked, running into Chinatown. Her feet weren't tired of running, but slowly, she began to limp. [Name] must have stepped on something. Even her wrist was aching. "Quickly! In here!" someone called.

She ran to the right where the box head behind her was kicked down, now passed out. Standing above him was someone, but [Name] didn't get a clear view of who it was. She was busy running into a building as many children looked at her with confusion. "Are you alright?"

"Did the box man hurt you?"

"Do we need Chun-Li to help out?"

As if it was a call, a woman with two buns and a blue qipao came in, looking worried. "Let me check. What's your name?" she asked.

'[Name]," the young woman replied.

One of the children, a girl with bangs and two buns on her head, came to [Name] and checked her for injuries. "Her right wrist is broken, jiejie. And somehow, the guy who attacked slit her ankle," she said.

(A/N: Jiejie means elder sister in Chinese)

"Thank you, Li Fen. Let me get her to my room so she can heal up," the woman replied.

With amazing strength, she picked up the Hawaiian girl, bringing her to her bedroom. "You should thank Jamie when you see him again," she said.

[Name] cocked her head to the side. "Who?"

"If you ever see a man with long black hair in a high braid, you'll know it's him. His cousins are Yun and Yang, the Twin Dragons," the woman replied as she set [Name] on the bed.

A child came in with gauze as they wrapped [Name]'s wrist and another wrapped her ankle. "So... what's your name?" she asked, looking at the woman.

"My name's Chun-Li."

"Nice to meet you... Um... Sorry, I didn't say something sooner."

Chun-Li giggled and wrapped an arm around her. "Oh, it's alright. Who taught you those amazing manners?" she asked.

[Name] told her about her grandma. That's when Chun-Li went to her drawer, pulling something out. "I remember going to Hawaii as a little girl, before becoming the strongest woman in the world. She was kind to all of her customers. One day, she gave me an item and told me something. It was as if she knew we would soon meet. She said... "If you ever meet my future granddaughter, give her this. Tell her it's from her grandma"," she explained, giving [Name] a Hawaiian doll.

It had black yarn for hair, tan skin, and a flower crown. It also had a small lei and flower bracelets with a grass skirt and flower-printed tube top. "Wow... Thanks!" [Name] said with a smile.

Chun-Li giggled and gave her a peace sign. That's when the door opened. "I got rid of the guy that attacked her. Is she doing alright?"

"[Name] is doing just fine, Jamie. I'm so glad you came by to visit her."

So this was the guy she was talking about earlier. [Name] blinked a few times, staying silent. Was it the long hair? Or was it the charm this man brought into the room? Chun-Li then explained that she would have to stay here for about two weeks before going off and working again. "You're more than welcome to leave when your wrist is feeling better. Just remember. Even when your wrist heals, don't put too much pressure on it. You got it?" Chun-Li inquired.

"Mhmm. Got it."

That's when both she and Jamie left, but not before the young man could deliver a smile.

...

Two weeks passed, and [Name]'s wrist was feeling better, but her ankle still needed to heal a little bit more. Though, just for good measure, she kept the gauze on. It looked badass. "Hm. That was a fast healing process. I guess herbs do solve all of your problems," [Name] thought.

She carefully walked out of Hong Hu Lu and went to her restaurant, which Luke decided to help name "The Hula Hale." He even asked others around the city to decorate the place while she was gone. There were flowers and small rocks, reminding [Name] of her old Hawaiian home. "There you are! Are you feeling better?" Luke asked as he ran out to greet the Hawaiian girl.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Chun-Li helped out, and I met someone new. She told me his name was Jamie," she replied.

Luke sighed. "He's my rival. We're not really on good terms, but... I hope it'll change when I beat his ass into the gravel," he added.

"On another topic, we go," [Name] said as she looked into The Hula Hale.

Chun-Li and Li Fen were sitting at a table, and the doll that she'd given her was on a shelf! [Name] grinned and carefully made her way in to see them, hugging both girls. "How's your wrist?" Li Fen asked.

"And how's your ankle?" Chun-Li inquired.

"Better. But I'm keeping the gauze on. I'm not risking another injury. Besides, I like how I look with this on me. It makes me look badass," [Name] replied.

Luke smiled and went to sit at his table, finishing his Lomi Salmon. [Name] smiled and went to the tiki bar, fixing a beverage for someone. She even saw someone in the corner of her eye. It was that man, Jamie. He was here?! "Hey, Luke! How well do you know the owner?" he called.

"Better than your dumb ass!" he yelled back.

Chun-Li sighed and continued sipping her tea as [Name] watched this all, smiling. Maybe... Metro City wasn't so bad after all.
