Betrothal : A Vivames Story

chapter 11

Amber's pov:
It was 5 am.
I was sitting in my observatory writing a letter to Desmond about this betrothal.I never knew dad would get me married to Axel but James did bear his fate so do i have to .I know Des will understand because its pretty common among royals to get married against their will some even have affairs.
I thought of giving this letter to Desmond myself. Also i wanted to meet him to make he's fine .
I put on a yellow coloured sundress and no makeup because i wasn't feeling very well . I didn't even put my tiara on.
I flew over to Desmond's kingdom
There was a beautiful lake in his kingdom where we usually meet . I informed him about my arrival. As i walked near the lake Desmond was already there waiting for me .
He had glasses on throughout the years he became more mascular and tall . He was a handsome prince no doubt.. Handsome yet nerdy .
He smiled greeting me with a hug .I hugged him back . "Something's wrong right?" He straight away asked. "Ah yes how did you know?" I asked back shockingly. He chuckled a bit and rubbed his back of the head "you're not wearing any makeup or your tiara so i guessed it" he replied . I looked away from him for a second..
"Des i am getting married to...Axel " i said almost crying.
He didn't say a word for some time then he spoke up ..
"So it's true ... seems like its in our fate right" he said smiling hiding his pain.
"Yes..what could i do james agreed sofia will agree i had to " i said .
"Its okay Amber you are future queen you have to make tough decision I love you and it won't change even if you're married to somebody else " he said making me even more sad .
I put my arms around his shoulders and pulled him in a kiss . His lips felt soft and wet . We released each other and decided to spend a little time together before parting ways .

Vivian's pov:

Ever since mine and james' relation got better we are always hanging out together. Today we were hanging out in our garden . James rested his head on my lap while i was writing some project.
He was playing with strand of my hair twirling it between his fingers.
"James stop you're irritating me" i said playfully.
"Well good news i want to irritate you " he said still not leaving my hair alone.
"Did you hear axel and his family are coming over tonight?" I asked.
"Yeah yeah Axel... I am pretty sure Amber doesn't wanna get married to him but this arranged marriage worked out for us so maybe they will fall in love eventually i meam Axel is a decent guy" he said .
"Don't you think he's a bit creepy?" I asked
"No what makes you think that?' he asked.
"The other day when we were at their place he was staring at me wierdly maybe its just a misunderstanding but am not sure" i said.
"Really? Well thats too bad does he not know you're mine" he said sticking his tongue out.
"And you're not that pretty" he said winking at me .
"James you jerk how dare you say that to me" i said angrily.
Before i could smack him he got up and ran as fast as he could i was chasing him too but i was too slow .
"Gotta run fast princess " he said surpassing me .
I ran as fast as i could and almost caught him but we both fell on the ground with him on top of me .
He grabbed my waist tightly and started kissing me with passion. Then he started kissing my neck and he was moving down and down but we heard someone..
"James someone is coming leave me " i said .
" No way " he replied.
"Buddy james this isn't the most appropriate place to do that "came a masculine voice .
It was Hugo standing here with a smirk on his face.
We got up. I was blushing so hard i couldn't face him at all .
"Hey vivian you're still very shy " he said.
"Hugo don't make me hit you too" i replied.
"Haha just like old days" he replied.
"Hey james can I talk to you alone for a bit?" He asked .
" I will find Amber and Sofia " i said and left them alone .

James'pov :

"James I don't know how to tell you this buddy but you know Amber and Desmond are dating right? I saw them kissing near corrington lake " he said .
" I already know " i said not caring much .
" You know what could happen if Axel saw them? " He asked.
" He probably know already tell me a prince or princess who is not involved in an affair " i asked.
For a minute he got stunned.
"Listen buddy we both know how arranged marriages work its for alliance people like me adjust with it happily but most of them compromise" i replied.
"You're right buddy" he said smiling.
"Well the good thing is i can ask for Sofia's hand after this alliance" he said happily.
For some reason it didn't bother me much now like it used to .Hugo is a good guy and he and sofia love each other so i was happy for them .
And I have Vivian the girl I love with all my heart.
"Wait weren't you guys arriving at night?" I asked.
"Um yeah but Axel was too excited so we had to come early he seems pretty obsessed with Amber" he said .
We both laughed nervously and walked our way .
Soon
Baileywick came
" Your majesty rederick family is here king Roland is waiting for you guys" he exclaimed..we headed our way to hall where everyone was seated .
When we went there i saw sofia standing there awkwardly Axel talking to Vivian about something and both kings and queens in their own conversation.
We greeted everyone and i stood near Vivian .
"Hey prince Axel nice to meet you again" i greeted warmly.
"Hello prince james pleasure is all mine" he said smirking.
"So what were you two talking about?" I asked.
"Oh nothing i was just introducing myself to princess Vivian i must say james you are very lucky to have such a charming wife " he replied talking viv's hand in his and planting a kiss on it .
It made me a little uncomfortable to be honest but its not a big deal 8 thought.
"Really vivian is more lucky to have a brave knight like me as her husband ' i replied proudly.
"Yeah sure james " he said .
Soon Amber also arrived and she was looking damn nervous.
Axel quickly went near her and greeted her .
"Don't talk to him again I don't think his intentions are good" i said to vivian .
"Me too he seems creepy " she replied.

Amber's pov:

"So princess Amber as you know you are gonna be my soon to be wife " Axel said .
"Ofcourse i hope we get along well prince Axel" i replied trying to sound a little joyful.
"Don't you think you should dress more like a princess from now?" He said.
"Uh today i wasn't feeling that well I'll try to look more decent from now" i replied.
He nodded his head in response

At night:

It was time for Axel and everyone to leave now and i was super happy about it whole day Axel was clinging to me like a bug.
We were at the doorway bidding them farewell.
"It was nice to meet y'all king and my dear queen " said king garrick.
"Pleasure was ours king garrick " dad replied.
"Next week we are hosting a ball to announce Amber and Axel 's wedding" king garrick said .
All of us smiled at his thought.
Hugo hugged me james and sofia
"Bye guys its good to hang out again after school ya know' he said .
Axel shook hands with James hugged me and sofia when it was time for vivian .
He took her hand and kissed it .
"See you at the ball princess" he said flirtatiously
Gosh this guy
James wasn't looking too happy with this .poor him.
They bid us goodbye.

Later that night:

James ' pov :

Vivian was taking a shower for too long tonight i couldn't control myself anymore.
She came out in her signature shorts and shirt dripping wet .
I pulled her on bed with me .
"What took you so long?" I asked .
"i just like making you wait " she replied pouting .
She took my shirt off .."mhm james you are becoming hotter day by day" she said making me even more excited.
I kissed her as hard as possible .
I suddenly remembered something  "Viv what was Axel saying to you?" I asked.
"He kept asking me about my hobbies or if he could teach me horseriding" she replied.
Why the hell was he thinking about that .
"Well tell him that you have a husband who can teach you anytime next time " i said in a jealous tone .
She hugged me tightly
"Aww jamie is jealous don't worry he is like that with every girl" she said.
"Yeah yeah" i said dryly.
"Now let me make love to you all night princesss vivian " i said evilly .
She giggled at that
