Chapter 1

"Rrrrring!" With a groan, Cecil reaches out from under his blankets to turn off his alarm clock before turning onto his back while placing his hand on his forehead.
"Cecil, hurry up or you will miss breakfast." Knocked his sister and groaning, Cecil stood up to prepare to head to the bathroom. After a quick shower, he put on his high school uniform and made his way down the stairways. When he walks pass a wooden oak door, he pause and look at the door for a minute or two before entering the dining room.
"Good morning Chloe." Said Cecil to his sister, who was eating breakfast.
"Good morning." said Chloe cheerfully. Giving her a small smile Cecil then sits down and slowly began eating his breakfast.
"Do you think mom is awake yet?" asked Chloe and Cecil just shrugs his shoulders. When they both finish eating both Chloe and Cecil made their way to the front entrance where a four door sedan waited for them. As Chloe made her way inside the car, Cecil turned his head to look at the top most window only to see the curtains closed and shaking his head, enters the car. Staring down from the top room's curtains is Cecilia looking on sadly as her two kids got into the car for school.
"Zack, when will you come home?" wonders the woman thinking of her husband, who always seemed to find some other excuse to stay at work than at home.
"Ding dong!" Rang the school bell signaling the end of class for the day. Immediately, students eagerly got up to leave for home except one particular student who remains sitting in his seat.
"Cecil....Cecil....Yo, Cecil!" yelled a fellow classmate making Cecil look away from where he was looking to see who was talking to him.
"Oh, Virgil, what's up?" ask Cecil and Virgil shooks his head.
"Lost in your own world again, Cecil?" ask Virgil jokingly before he added, "School's over. Come on, let's go." Nodding his head, Cecil stood up to follow his best friend out of the classroom and when they made a stop at the lockers to place their books inside a girl's voice said, "Umm...."
"Oh, Yes, Eva?" asks Cecil as he closes his locker door while staring into the shy face of Eva.
"I....I was....Umm....Wondering if you would like to walk home with me?" ask Eva shyly and Cecil who stood surprise, not knowing what to say, just nodded his head. While walking out of the school's entrance, Cecil and Eva were stopped by the four door sedan. The car window open and the driver ask, "Mr. Davis?"
"I'm going to walk home today." Said Cecil and the driver nodded his head before driving off. Smiling at Eva, Cecil and Eva continues walking on the sidewalk. While walking, Cecil kept quiet and continues looking down at the street while Eva looks away to her left shyly
"Umm....This is my house." Said Eva suddenly making Cecil looked up to see that she had stop walking and was waiting in front of a gated house. Nodding Cecil was about to leave when Eva grab hold of his hand saying, "C....Ce...Cecil, umm I really like you and.....want to go out on a date with you?" Opening his eyes in surprise, Cecil looks down in silent.
"Eva..."
"Cecil, I know that you don't talk to anyone much but I still want to go out with you. Even if it's just one date." Said Eva and Cecil just nodded his head. Eva then smile, gave a small kiss to the cheeks of Cecil and enter her house. As Cecil slowly walk away lost in deep thoughts he didn't notice that the sky had begun to get dark and cloudy.
"Boom!" Thunder could be heard and then one second later rain started to fall. Cursing for not realizing that it was going to rain, Cecil started running hoping to find shelter from the rain. As he continue to run with no luck in finding shelter the rain got worse and visibility became worse and worse by the second. A thick fog began forming and Cecil had completely lost his vision and was running blindly hoping that he is going the right way.
"Whoa!" yells Cecil as he slip and fell off a cliff losing consciousness before hitting the ground.
