It was another rainy day. Me and my twin brother, Oliver were getting ready for our first day of school. Even though we were twins, we weren't the same. Oliver always got good grades and was at least top 3 on every class. He took studying seriously, while me, I didn't real care about my grades. I was always interested in playing piano since I wanted to be a pianist when I grow up. My parents expect me and Oliver to be doctors, but I don't think I want to be one. When I told my parents about my dream career of me being a pianist, they got mad at me. My brother wanted to be an Oncologist, a type of doctor who helped people with tumors. Although my parents didn't accept my dream, I didn't let them stop me.

I went downstairs and ate breakfast. After I was done, my mom drove me and Oliver to school.

Me and Oliver were going to 10th grade. We both had the same classes since my mom told the school if we could. We've always been in classes together since 2nd grade.

As we made it to school, we saw other kids entering as well.

"Bye!" My mom said, "Make sure you guys be good."

"Bye mom." Me and Oliver said.

We got our backpacks and went out of the car into the school building. I looked at my schedule.

"Room 73.09." I said to my brother.

"Where's that?" He said confused.

"I don't know, but we can try finding it."

Me and my brother walked around the school. As we were walking, people were giving us weird looks. I tried to ignore them, but my brother didn't. He kept looking back at them with the same looks that they gave him.

As we were walking, we found our classroom. I looked through the window and I saw lots of people in the classroom.

"You walk in first." I said to Oliver.

"Uhm, okay..." Oliver said as he opened the door.

The teacher looked at us and smiled as we walked into the classroom. I tried to avoid looking at the class.

"Hello!" The teacher said, "Are you guys the new students?"

"Yeah." Oliver said.

I just nodded. The teacher smiled at us and directed us to our seats. I sat at the back of the classroom while Oliver sat in the middle.

I sat down at a table. There was a microscope in the middle of the table.

"Today in class we are going to be identifying the cells in different objects. You are your classmates have 30 minutes to complete the assignment for today." The teacher said.

Great. I was okay with doing everything in science, but I never participated in anything to do with microscopes.

While other people in different groups starting using the microscope, my group was just sitting there. Some people in my group were just on their phones. I just sat there in silence. I was wondering if they were going to do the assignment. or not.

I guess not.

I didn't want my first impression at school to look bad, so I decided to try to do the work.

I got the first object and put it under the microscope. After I did that, I looked into the microscope.

Then I stopped.

I had no idea what cells the object had, and I would just embarrass myself if I said that to the teacher. We learned those things in 7th grade, but I didn't pay attention since I didn't care about grades.
