"Oh, Hi Q-Quinn." I said as I faked a smile, "Can we talk for a second Oliver?"
"Alright." Oliver said.
We walked over to an area where there were only a little people there.
"I-I don't know to say this to you, but," I said trying to think of what to say without exposing the truth, "You can date someone you just met! You only knew her for 1 day. You don't know a lot about her."
Oliver looked at me with a serious expression, "What are you talking about?" Oliver said, "I'm not that stupid. I won't date someone I met for 1 day."
"That's great-"
"But I will date someone I met for 2 days." Oliver said interrupting me.
"Oliver! I'm not joking with you. You barely even know her!"
"Same with you too. She's nice, just trust her." Oliver said as he walked away, "I will see you after lunch, bye!"
"Wait!" I said, but Oliver already walked away.
"Come on." Hailey said as she grabbed my arm, "You don't want him to find out, do you?"
"What, of course not!" I said back,
"Then don't say anything to him. I heard exactly what you said to him. You must be glad I'm not telling the other girls what you said too."
I didn't say anything after she said that. I just followed her to the table that her and the other girls were sitting at.
As I sat down, they started talking again. I didn't even pay attention to a single word they were saying. I was just watching Oliver and Quinn.
Maybe I made the wrong choice.
Oliver said he would always be there for me, but I'm never there for him. I knew that if I told him about Quinn, my life would be over for school. Hailey and her friends wouldn't talk to me and who knows if they will turn the whole school against me.
The bell rang again, and everyone started leaving the building. I quickly walked away from the girls and tried to find Oliver.
"Uhm," Hailey began, "Where are you going, Victoria? My dad said he will drop us all off at home."
"Oh, sorry, but I can't. My mom is really strict, and she would get mad if I don't get home on the bus. Anyways, see you guys tomorrow." I said as I walked away.
My mom actually wouldn't mind if I don't go home on the bus, but I just needed to talk to my brother without Hailey or one of her friends spying on us.
I went up to Oliver. He looked at me and smiled. I was going to tell him, but I decided to when we get home. Also, I need to think of a way to make them break-up without telling him the exact truth.
As we got on the bus, I took my jacket out of my backpack and put it on. I almost forgot that I had my jacket. I looked out the window on the bus. I looked over at Oliver and saw him on his phone. It seemed like he was smiling and texting someone. Wait.
Who was he texting?
I looked over at his phone and the name for the contact said Quinn. I looked at him shocked. I had to do something, but I couldn't think of anything.
"Oliver!" I said, "Uhm, do you think you can help me with my homework?"
"Sure. I will help you when I get home." Oliver said as he went back on his phone.
"I wouldn't ask you now if I didn't want you to help me now." I said with sass.
He put down his phone and looked at me shocked.
