Oliver was taking too long in the kitchen, and I knew that if I waited for him to be done, I would just miss the bus and I will get in trouble once again.

I went inside of the kitchen and quickly made cereal. After I was done making it, I went to go sit in the living room since I knew I couldn't eat inside of my room. Oliver didn't even look at me once. He was just on his phone the whole time. I bet he was texting Quinn. I didn't look at him either. I tried my best to avoid eye contact with him.

After I was done eating, I put on my shoes and went to go wait outside for the bus. Oliver did the same, but he waited for other people to come then he went behind them.

Wow, he is REALLY mad at me.

The bus came and I walked inside of the bus. I sat down waiting for Oliver to sit down with me, but he didn't. I saw him sit down next to someone else and he started laughing and talking to them. I did get a few weird stares from people on the bus. It's maybe because we usually sit next to each other, and he decided to sit somewhere else. I decided to look out the window trying to ignore everyone staring at me, but it was hard. I saw them pointing at me and whispering something to someone.

The bus arrived at the school, and everyone started walking out. As I was getting out of the bus, someone pushed me and said, "Jerk." Other people started laughing at me too.

Why are they doing this to me just because I was sitting by myself on the bus. Other people sat by themselves too, so why am I only getting hate for it.

"Why would she say that about her brother?" I heard other people saying.

"I don't know, she's so crazy." Another person said.

Wait a minute, what do they mean by that? Did they record when I was talking to them and send it to the school...?

DOES OLIVER KNOW?!

The bell rang. I quickly ran to my classroom and pushed people out of the way.

Hailey must've done something.

As I entered the classroom, Hailey waved at me. I looked away and side-eyed her. As I went to my seat, Hailey looked at me.

"What are you wearing, and what happened to you? You're acting like I did something to you." Hailey said to me.

"Oh, don't act all innocent. I heard exactly what you lied about to Oliver on the phone, and you also recorded when I was talking to you in the bathroom!" I said back at her.

"Calm down," Hailey began, "Your brother didn't see it. There is no need to get mad about it."

"What do you mean by he doesn't know! The whole school knows it, so what if one of them goes to him and tells him about it?! Plus, he hates me so much that he didn't talk to me since last night and didn't sit with me on the bus just because of what you guys said about me! Why did you even lie? There was no reason to."

"We don't need a reason to tell you why we did these things. It was our choice."

"Tell me now."

"The reason why we sent the video to everyone was to threaten you to still be a part of the plan since you denied yesterday. Quinn told me. You have to be a part of the plan, because there is no turning back now. You already made the choice, and now you have to continue with it. Remember the saying of you finish what you started? Yeah, you're going to have to do that."

"What if I don't want to? You can't stop me. Sometimes you don't have to finish what you started if it's something bad."

"If you knew it was bad then why did you want to do it in the first place? You caused this for yourself, and if you don't be a part of it, I will send the video to your brother and your life will be ruined. Your life is already ruined by making friends here so the only friends you can have right now are me and my friends. Everyone thinks you're a horrible person for going against your brother."

"But you gave me the choice!"

"And you gave me the answer. I was really surprised when you said that you'll go against your brother. I was expecting you to always be there for your brother, but I guess not. You just want to be like everyone else."

"No, I'm not! You're just trying to be like everyone else."

"At least I'm not the only one dressing up like a depressed emo for the first day of school then sassy for the next day of school. Everyone can seriously tell that you're trying to be like everyone else."

"And how are you so sure of that?"

"Because some people told me, even the teachers did too. If you really want to fit in, then you should at least not make it obvious that you're a try hard. You should've waited until 11th grade until you had your glow-up, not a day after."

"Hailey, just quit. I don't even care anymore, just don't send that video to him! He already snitched on me for wearing a cropped top."

"Then are you in or not."

I rolled my eyes and walked away. I didn't want to be a part of it, but I didn't have a choice.

I went up to the teacher's desk and said, "Can I move somewhere else? I don't want to sit next to Hailey anymore."

"Sorry, but there are no other available seats." The teacher said back to me.

"Okay." I said as I walked back.

Looks like I can't avoid Hailey this time. I walked back to my seat and sat down. I didn't look at Hailey once. I tried my best to avoid any eye contact with her. "So, what's your choice?" Hailey said. I just ignored her. "Looks like you already made up your mind. At least I won't be regretting it, the only one who will be regretting it is you. "

I ignored what she was saying. Everything was already a mess, and there was no possible way to do it. I couldn't keep lying to my brother, so I couldn't join in on their plan. The worst thing is that the whole school knows what I did, and Oliver is making it obvious that it really happened. The main thing I had to focus on was to gain my brother's trust again. This girl manipulated me, and I won't make her do the same thing to Oliver.

Some time passed, and it was time for lunch. I walked into the cafeteria and saw Hailey with her friends.

I just looked away.

After I saw Oliver. I guess he was still mad at me, so I'll be sitting by myself. I saw Quinn walk up to Oliver and hug him; Oliver hugged her back. I looked away from them. I looked to the distance and saw an empty seat. I walked over there and sat there.

While I was on my phone, I heard footsteps approaching me.

Quinn.

"Hailey told me that you didn't want to follow along with the plan. How come?" Quinn said.

"You guys manipulated me and now you're trying to manipulate Oliver! That's what you guys do to every new student, huh? You always try to ruin their life acting like you are helping them. You try to make them, and their siblings not be close? Am I right or am I right?" I said back to Quinn.

"Actually, you're wrong. We tried helping you and your brother."

"Well, I don't need your help. You can walk away now." I said back as I went on my phone.

"We aren't done with you yet." Quinn said as she got up to go sit next to Oliver again.

What does she mean by that? Don't tell me they're coming up with a way for the whole school to hate me even more.

The bell rang and everyone started leaving the building. I just took my time and walked slowly to the bus. I tried my best to avoid Oliver at any cost.

I got on the bus and sat in an empty seat. I looked straight ahead of me to the emergency door when I was walking. As I got to my seat, I looked out of the window, so I won't have to make eye contact with anyone.

The bus arrived, and I got off the bus. As I got off the bus, Oliver looked back at me with mad eyes and walked faster into the house and slammed the door on my face.

What did I do?

I know he was mad at me, but he was never so mad to slam a door on my face. I opened the door and walked into the house.

I'll just ask him even though he might be mad at me.
