Class 1-A

Amasawa POV

We were teleported to a room, in this room, a table is present in the middle, with 40 chairs around it. Looking around, next to us is a small space named 'Custom Room'. It's like a box cut into the wall, and next to it there's a computer. As well as a message above the computer.

As Ishigami-kun moved to the front of the room, the rest of us sat silent. Then, he spoke "Obviously, we'll participate. I doubt there are any objections." And of course, no one did. "With that out of the way, I think the best course of action is to put an all-rounder as the Player, someone good at both academics and physical abilities. For the-" I raised my arm "Amasawa, what is it?" He said, tiredly.

I stood up and spoke "I want to be the player. My academic score is an A, and Physical is A-. I think I'm the best candidate here. If you want to confirm this, we could use this-" I said pointing at the Custom Room. " 'This room can be altered based on the instructions written on the computer.'  We can use this to determine who is the most physically capable and combine that with our OAA academic score to find who's the best- Me, basically." I finished with a smile, but more serious than usual. My usual cheeky and teasing attitude won't cut it here. 

I saw Ayanokoji-senpai's face, he will compete seriously to earn the wish. I'm sure Takuya saw it too, and he will likely throw out his 'hiding approach' to confront Senpai directly. I want to join too. I want to see how good he really is.

Ishigami-kun spoke up again "Are you sure? I - personally - don't want to compete as the player, but there are others who might. I do commend your observation ability though, I was going to mention the room in a second, before your interruption. Anyways, those who want to take the place of Player and can back up that claim- don't waist my time-, raise your hand." He commanded.

I raised my hand, along with two boys and one more girl.

Ishigami-kun analyzed us for a couple seconds. "All of you have good academic scores, and above average physical, so the way we will decide it is through some physical evaluations." He walked towards the computer and started typing. After hitting enter, the Custom Room disappeared for a second, then reappeared, with a small gym replacing the blank room it was earlier.

A girl from our class spoke up "Will the 'Physical' events have to do with sports?" She asked.

Ishigami-kun turned towards her. "Unlikely, the chairman said that Akira isn't aware of our abilities, so the more likely events are general sports like running, or weight lifting- the only specific sports that would have a chance getting in would be swimming, and maybe something similar to a brawl." He explained. 

That's basically the same thing I thought of. Not bad.

"Wouldn't a fight already give us the answer? It is a mix of speed, strength and reflexes, after all." I spoke up.

"That's true," Ishigami-kun started "but since we have the time, a proper evaluation is worth doing."

I sighed.

Then, we started the evaluations. It would be on grip strength, top speed, weight lifting, and finally combat 1-on-1s - tournament style.

Not much was expected of me because I'm a girl, but I blew away their expectations. I'm not holding back, if I want to go against Takuya and Ayanokoji-senpai, I can't hold back.

"Winner in grip strength, Amasawa, with 82.4kg." Ishigami-kun eyed me suspiciously as he announced. "Moving on, top speed. Go to the treadmills."

And again, I destroyed the others.
