IT HAD BEEN a few days since stella and jacob had talked but elaina was finally ready to talk to malachi. she was obviously nervous but the least she could do was hear him out at least.
"hey stel can you tell jacob that i'm ready to talk to him now?" elaina says, turning over on her bed to face her.
"laina are you sure you're ready, i mean it's only been a few days." stella asked, not wanting to pressure her.
she nodded. "mhm." she replied. "i think i at least owe him that you know." elaina explained.
"okay, i'll let jacob know, but don't feel pressured to forgive him you know." stella replied, hinting a smile.
elaina smiled back at her. "promise i won't." she joked.
