Tamara was just about to go to sleep when Tim texted and said he would be stopping by, and she was happy to have him come over if it meant he could talk some sense into Lucy.

Tim knocked on the apartment door frantically, and Tamara saw how stressed and upset he looked.

"Has she gone to sleep yet?" He asked. Tamara looked at him with a confused expression, so he clarified his question, "Is Lucy asleep?"

"She went to bed about an hour ago."

"Okay, we need to switch her comforter with this one," Tim explained and held up a bag.

Tamara recognized the item immediately as the comforter in their bedroom at their house, and she did not understand why she needed to sleep with THAT particular blanket.

"When Lucy wakes up, she's confused and panics. My scent helps calms her. It makes sure her morning is easier, and it sometimes helps with the nightmares. In her mind, she JUST remembered Caleb, and so she's got a lot going on right now. My scent will help her. I wrapped myself in this blanket for a few hours and it still smells like me."

She did not fully understand anything about the nightmares or the value of his scent, but she trusted Tim. "Okay, we can switch it in the morning."

"No, now," he said urgently and shouldered past Tamara. He quietly tip toed into Lucy's bedroom, and though he shouldn't have, he took in the beautiful sight of her sleeping peacefully. He loves just admiring her sometimes like she's the most beautiful thing he's ever seen. Because she is, and Tim has yet to grow tired of enjoying how gorgeous she is. Then, he recollected himself and gently removed her blanket to replace it with the comforter he brought. She moved a little, and he hoped she was not waking, which thankfully, she wasn't. Lucy just moved in her sleep sometimes. Tim finished draping the comforter over her before planting a fond kiss to her forehead.

He left her room and looked at Tamara's puzzled expression. "What's the matter with you?" She asked.

"Me?"

"Why aren't you fighting for her?"

"Tamara, I can't force her to be with me. She said it's hard for her to be with me, since she's forgotten our whole relationship. It's a bad idea right now to push her."

"So, are you planning on just waiting for her to remember?"

"I don't know. I haven't thought that far ahead yet. I just need her to make it through the night without a nightmare, and..." he pulled something else out of the duffle bag he brought with him. "Can you give this to her in the morning?"

Tamara accepted their photo album. She ran a hand over the cover like it was something precious. "The second we go through it tomorrow, she'll go running back to you."

"I hope so, but if she doesn't...I just gotta be patient, and you need to be patient with her, too, okay? I know that you're so used to her taking care of you, but you need to be there for her in a way she doesn't want me to be right now. Can you do that?"

"Of course," she agreed easily. "Whatever she needs."

"Alright, then I should go. Just text me if either of you need anything."

Tamara nodded and saw that some of the tension had eased from his shoulders, but Tim still looked worried for Lucy and upset about the whole situation, which was completely understandable, and it made her heart break sympathetically.

When Lucy woke up and read through her folder, she felt a tear stream down her face for the man she loves that she can't be with anymore. A man that she apparently WORKS with and would be seeing soon enough at the station for shift. She got ready for work nervously. All Lucy had was ONE picture of Tim along with a list of notes that speak to her love for him. She hesitantly entered the station while playing with her hair, because she didn't know what to expect.
