Let's listen and hear the true meaning of silence.

Predictably, Klaus flew into a rage when he found out what he had done. How could she dare to do such a thing? Elijah's words were useless, as he always tried to find the noble side of everything; even though he was also saddened by Hayley's choice to join Solomiia. Oddly, Rebekah agreed with Klaus and his plan to raze the entire city and who knows what other barbarities to enact, all in revenge for this dishonor brought upon their family. The idea of having severed heads and ripped out hearts was something Freya didn't even enjoy.

In recent days, the original hybrid has not found peace. He went all over New Orleans, in every single place, looking for Hayley, threatened everyone around him with death; he even went so far as to wait outside Solomiia's villa, shouting obscene phrases and more threats at her. His search, however, did not lead to the desired result. See, the thing was that Hayley was not his main concern, no matter how much she let him down; but the fact that she took with her his daughter... That was what made Klaus so furious.

Do you wanna play? Then I'll show you, the hybrid thought to himself. In recent days he had even sketched out some kind of plan. It wasn't like him to make such impulsive plans, but given recent circumstances, he didn't have much choice. His anger hadn't abated at all, but at least he was trying to keep it at bay, much to Freya and Elijah's delight. The apparent calm, however, did not entirely reassure his siblings, who wondered what the hybrid had in mind.

It was about five o'clock when someone knocked on their door. Weird, they were expecting no guests.

"Don't tell me it's that bitch again." Rebekah groaned, starting to get up from the couch where she sat, placing her book on the coffee table. "I swear I'm gonna pull off that hair extensions of hers!"

She was stopped by Klaus, who waved her to stay put. "It's my guest." He said, causing his siblings to look at each other in confusion. There was a smirk on his face which boded no good. "They told we're all a big family, then let's do a proper family reunion!" The hybrid almost ran to open the door, which, when opened, revealed a tall young girl with very light blond hair. There was something extremely familiar about her. "Nice meeting you again, Åse."

That name made everyone jump, how could the girl be there? A case of homonymy? Of course not, not for them. Åse had the same look as when she was a child, despite the appearance of a young woman in her twenties. "Uhm, good evening..." The young woman looked bewildered, as if wondering what she was doing there.

"Do not be shy, enter!" Klaus invited, stepping aside to let her pass. "Long time no seeing, we have lot to catch up."

"Niklaus..." Elijah called, shaken by the recent encounter with the niece he believed dead for centuries. "What have you done?"
