"I know, right?" Leah said, "I cannot believe that Cameron managed to get a girlfriend. I mean, he isn't ugly or anything, but he isn't gorgeous either."
"Yeah, next thing I know, I'll be dating too." I replied.

"Well, there is a little something in this world called 'a beautiful heart', guys!" I heard someone say. I whipped around, accidentally slapping Cameron's face with my red ponytail.

"OMG sorry dude!" I apologized, "I wasn't watching my hair. But seriously Cam, how did you get a date?"

He shrugged. "To be honest with you people, I have no idea. Maybe I just have an aura of awesomeness all the time."

"Hey, now don't get big-headed. Oh, Nick and Erik are coming."

Sure enough, both of them were running towards us.

"Perfect! Our group of five is complete." Leah says.

I laugh. "Then lets do the handshake."

We all put our hands in the center. Leah, whose hand was on the bottom, slid her hand up to the top. Erik's was above hers. He slid his up. They locked their fingers and did a bit of a thumb fight as we watched. In a couple of seconds, Leah won. Erik slid his hand to the bottom and the next hand slid up. It was Cameron's. Ooh, this would be interesting. They were the best thumb fighters I knew. This fight took about ten seconds before Cameron's was pushed down. I was next, and I got beaten in about two seconds. Then Nick. He lost too. We separated our hands from the middle, and formed fists with them. Leah got to do the next part, which was restricted for the thumb fight winners.

"C," Cameron put his fist in.
"L," Leah put her own in.
"E," Erik put his fist in.
"A," I did it too.
"N." Nick put it in. And yes, our names spell "clean".

"I hereby declare that we, as a unit, are not what we spell. We are contaminated to some degree like everyone else."

"We are not CLEAN!" We chorus in the end and take our fists out. I know, very long handshake. A couple of bystanders looked at us like we needed a hospital. And all of us do, in a way.

Leah has a really severe "allergy" to meat.

Cameron has a little limp when he walks due to an extra bone in his hips.

Erik had cancer when he was one. It ended when he was three.

Nick has asthma.

I, Alyssandra, have the most embarrassing one of all here. I was born with these crazy scars on my waist. There was this really long one stretching from my ribs all the way down to my butt, and a bunch of small ones. Most people who saw this had assumed I was self-harmed and had attempted suicide once. But I didn't. And they wouldn't believe me when I said I was perfectly happy and content with my life. That was what was so bad about them.

As I drew away, I instinctively put my hand on my backpack strap. There was a bee on it, but I didn't notice. I put my hand on it and a sharp pain shot through my palm. The pain didn't stop. I immediately took my hand off and let out a gasp. I looked at my strap, which had a limp, black and yellow thing on it. I gently brushed it off, gritting my teeth at the pain. My palm had this blister in the middle that was slowly turning from a raw pink to an angry red. I didn't even notice when Cameron took my hand in it. I only started coming back onto Earth when I felt his lips on my hand. Wait, WHAT?

"Cameron, what exactly are you trying to do?" I half screamed, half asked.

"He's taking out the stinger. I've seen people do this before." Erik explained. At that moment, Cameron came back up, a thin black stinger in his mouth. He fished some tissue out of his pocket and spat the thing out along with a bit of yellow stuff. I'm guessing the poison. I felt the swelling die down.
