The dino drive (and last part of the last chapter)

I still can't sleep, so I walk around, ready to just go to the couch and crash there, But I decide to sing some songs outside first. Then, I heard footsteps behind me. "STAND BACK!" I yell, grabbing my scissors and opening them menacingly.

"Woah! Woah... sorry... I'll just.. go back." Ben mutters. "Wait!" I yell. He turns back around. "Sit with me." I say. "I thought you were Kenji or something." I said.

I didn't know him well, But I was slowly developing feelings for him. "So.. what's it like at home?" He asked. "Parents divorced, both. Both my siblings don't like me. Fake friends, and A hell of a lot of hidden emotions." I say. "Oh... well... my life is good, I do my work, my mom and dad do theirs, and everything." He says.

"Sounds nice...." I say. We watch the stars peacefully, and I glance at him, and see his cheeks are pink. "It's so peaceful, stargazing." I say.

"Yeah.." he said. "I could look at the sky for hours.. it's so clear because of the lights being off.." I sigh contently. I see him smile.

*the NEXT day*

"Ok! Let's get into it!" I say. "And all these dinosaurs are Herbivores, correct?" Ben asks nervously. "Well, they only chewed on the last kid a little, so we're like... 99% sure they're cool." Roxie replied.

"Exept that one." I say, pointing to a triceratops I had named February because it had a little heart symbol at the end of its tail.

"If you get to close, she'll chew your face off, then eat the rest of your body. Darius chimes in. "Triceratops don't attack unprovoked." I look back at him with a 'bitch really' face and walk over to him.

"I know you nerd, I just want to scare him." I say, Rolling my eyes. He nervously giggled. I get in the three seater gyrosphere that Me, Kenji, and Ben are sharing.

Me and Ben in front, Kenji in the back. "Hey, if you let me drive, I'll go slow." I say. Ben agrees and while everyone else takes off, I start slow, speeding up little by little until we had reached a desirable speed for the both of us.

"You guys are LITERALLY the WORST. DRIVERS. I've EVER seen, bruh!" Kenji complains in the back seat. "I'm trying to make it comfortable for all of us! So why don't you shut that big fucking  mouth of yours and be happy with what you have!?" I yell at him from the front, never looking away from the scene in front of me.

I'm assuming what I said worked, because he was quiet afterwards. I drove carefully past February, and continued. But Dave and Rox stopped us, so I quickly stopped. He said we were going back to camp. "What!? No! We just got here." I say.

"We're not gonna let a little rain stop us, right?" Darius tried to back me up. "Yeah! I'm with D boy!" I say. "No!" Ben says to me.

"Sorry, can't risk it." I see Roxie trying to phone for help, but she gets no answer, so they leave us by ourselves. 'They should know by now we can't be trusted' I think.

Anyways, a sino gets separated from the herd, so the other two gyrospheres go after it. "Don't even th-" Me and Ben start, but it's too late. "I'll drive!" He ceases the joystick and begins to speed up, making Ben freak out.

"What the fuck!! Give it back Kenji!" I start tugging it and will not let go, but he keeps on going. "Watch it Y/n! You almost hit us!" Yaz yelled.

"NO! KENJI IS JUST A REALLY SHITTY DRIVER!" I yell back. Sammy is trying to help. "Listen to Sammy guys! Guys! KENJI YOUR GONNA GET US KILLED! Watch your left, WATCH YOUR LEFT!" I yell as we are chased in to the jungle.

Me and Ben are still fighting for control when we both give up and tell him to get us the fuck outta here. But then this bitch crashed it! We hung upside down, and I got out, not looking behind me.

"ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID KENJI!? Now, we have to WALK through the mud and water here!" I yell at him. Ben looks at me with an expression that said so many things, yet I couldn't tell what they were. 

We began the trek through the rainforest, Which wasn't even that fun because the rain was coming down in HUGE drops and rolling off leaves. I kept muttering random stuff and cursing Kenji out, and I think Ben heard me.

I walked out onto a path and then I saw a hamster ball about to ram me, so I dove to the other side of the path, just Barely avoiding a serious injury.

When I looked up, Ben was clinging to Kenji, and he refused to let go. I don't know why, but I felt a pang of jealousy.

We all got in, me basically sitting on the floorboard. Then we heard Brooklyn and Darius call for help.

Outside of our oversized hamster ball. We raced over to where we heard and saw they were sinking in a mud hole! "Oh Lord Jesus Christ, please help us.." I say, putting my hands together while also shaking my head in disbelief.

When I finished, I tried to get Dave and Roxie on the line. "Rox! DAVE! We have a real situation here!!!! If you love us you'll come get us now!!" I say, giving a 'T-T' face. Meanwhile, the others were actually being useful.

I decided to help by braiding branches and handing them to the others. We finally got them out and cheered when doing so, Brooklyn recording it. "This is gonna go viral!" She smiled.

"Brooklyn unboxes: rescue mission! Me and Darius had to be saved by the other kids from a hamster ball!?" She says. I laugh.

Then, Dave and Roxie show up. "It was about time! We already rescued them ourselves" I say slyly.

*When they get back LMAO 🤣 *

"And you stay in your bunks! You hear me!?" Roxie scolds us. "I don't know why. We didn't do anything" I whisper. I get up in my bunk, and Ben goes to the bathroom

*20 minutes later*

Ben comes out in blue pajamas, his watch on just as tight as normal. I was here, dirty, bracelets packed with dirt, and my hands filled with drawings and letters.

"Y/n, how much do you have in this bag? What? Why?" Ben asked while he cleans his ears. "Well, I've got Notebooks, Pencils, Coloring supplies, first aid kit, Food, Fidgets, rubber band kit, beads, change of clothes, stuff like that." I say.

He nods, and we  kinda just sit there, "can opener, hoodie, and a camera" I say. He nods. "So... what's your favorite color?" He asked. "F/c. Yours?" I ask. "Light Blue." (This is NOT canon!! I just said blue because he has a blue shirt and bumpy is blue. Bumpy is the only blue Ankylosaurus.) "That's my third favorite." I say. He nods.
