jisung caught minho, his own body being covered in minho's blood. was minho even alive at this point? he carefully brought him into the bathroom after he locked the front door and set him down on the counter.

he leant minho against the cabinet so he didn't hurt himself and collected bandages, gauze, rubbing alcohol, and cream. the sight was heartbreaking to see. minho was just completely drowning in his own blood.

minho blinked slowly, meeting jisung's soft, yet concerned, gaze. "hey, i'm going to clean your wounds. is that okay?" the older nodded, and jisung sighed. "you should shower first, you're covered in blood, minho."

"can't stand."

minho winced, and jisung pursed his lips. "bath? you can leave your boxers on and i can help wash off the blood?" minho just wanted this blood off of his body.

at minho's agreement, jisung turned on the water and let the bath fill. jisung 's gaze lingered on minho's defeated expression. he looked so tired. the pity that jisung felt was overbearing, but he knew it was the last thing minho wanted, or needed right now.

as the bath filled, jisung sadly smiled at minho. "bath's full. do you need help undressing?" minho hummed, mumbling a 'careful' as jisung's hesitant fingers touched the hem of the hoodie.

the blood stained his hands and he gently took off minho's hoodie, tossing it into the laundry hamper. he couldn't look at minho's body, the blood made him sick to his stomach. as the older was in his boxers after a slow process, jisung lifted him and cautiously set him in the bath.

"i'll leave you to relax for a bit, okay? i'll come back in 10."

he closed the door behind him and exhaled slowly. minho closed his eyes, resting his head in his water. the blood was staining red but he didn't care. he felt relaxed. the warmth soothed his aching muscles, and was helping the pain just a little bit.

minho must have fallen asleep because when he woke up, jisung was just coming in again. "hey, let's get this gross blood off you, hm?" he softly smiled, crouching next to the tub as he took the showerhead and rubbed the washcloth on minho's body.

he wanted to wash off the blood that caused the sadness in minho's eyes. it hurt to see him so upset, even if they haven't known each other long. jisung didn't know if it was dangerous to go to the hospital.

minho's pale skin was visible again after he washed him clean and minho hair was the hardest pair. the blood dried and made the strands stick together. clumps of blood fell into jisung hands as he sprayed minho's hair and he winced.

minho stayed quiet, deciding to let jisung help him since he couldn't himself. he shampooed minho's hair, trying to get it to it's original brown. but it was stained red.

he started draining the red water and held out a towel for minho to step into. minho wrapped the towel around himself, barely being able to stand as he held onto the wall. "let's lay you down. all you need is rest to heal. and some antiseptic cream."

he brought minho to his room, helped him change into comfier clothes and helped him lay down on the bed. "if you need me, yell. i'll be awake all night anyway." minho sighed in relief as his body was finally on a bed, and he patted the spot next to him.

"sleep, ji."

jisung chuckled, laying under the covers next to him and seeing minho already asleep. "you poor thing. so exhausted and hurt." he pursed his lips, covering him with the sheet and fell asleep.

minho woke up in heavy pain, alongside jisung who woke up to the blaring alarm and he slapped a hand over his face. "i'm going to school, you stay and rest." minho ignored him, sitting up and holding a hand over his ribs.

"minho. you can't walk. stay and sleep."

he shook his head, slowly standing and holding onto the wall. "i've gone in worse conditions, jisung. i'm fine to go." jisung knew he wouldn't get through to minho. he didn't want to risk him sneaking out and going to school.

the best he could do was let him go and just watch over him if minho needs help.

the two got ready for school and minho had to keep a hood on since his hair was stained red. he looked in the mirror as the two were about to leave and exhaled slowly. "i've looked worse."

;

they arrived at school and jisung looped an arm around minho's waist to help him walk better. minho winced in pain at every step and jisung knew he should have stayed home. "minho, you should have stayed in bed."

"i'm fine, jisung. i just need to get used to it and i'll be okay."

"you're lucky we have a break for the next two weeks. it's a good time to heal."

as minho limped into the classroom, he couldn't help but feel a sense of dread settle in his stomach. it was bad enough that he was barely able to walk after the night before, but having to spend the entire day with jisung by his side made it even worse. jisung was his friend, and he had been there for him when no one else was, but minho couldn't help but feel self-conscious about his injuries.

despite his reluctance, jisung insisted on walking him to his desk and helping him with his backpack. minho couldn't help but feel grateful for his friend's support, but he couldn't shake the feeling that everyone was staring at him. as he sat down, he tried to make himself as small as possible, hoping that no one would notice him.

his hopes were quickly dashed when his friends started asking him what had happened the night before. minho could feel his face flushing as he tried to come up with a convincing lie. He didn't want anyone to know the truth about the abuse or the injuries he had sustained.

"it was nothing, just a small scuffle," he finally muttered, hoping that his friends would drop the subject. but they were persistent, and minho could feel their eyes on him, waiting for him to say more.

jisung didn't say anything, but minho could sense that he was watching him carefully. he knew that he couldn't keep the truth hidden from jisung forever, but for now, he just wanted to get through the day without drawing any more attention to himself.

as the day wore on, minho found himself becoming more and more exhausted. his injuries were starting to take their toll on him, and he could barely keep his eyes open. jisung noticed his fatigue and offered to walk him to the nurse's office, but minho stubbornly refused. he didn't want to draw any more attention to himself than he already had.

by the time the final bell rang, minho was practically dragging himself out of the classroom. jisung walked him to his locker, but minho couldn't stand the thought of anyone else seeing him in his weakened state. he quickly grabbed his backpack, muttered a quick goodbye to jisung, and practically ran out of the school.
