Next Day...
and anxiously waited for the test results, she found solace in Jimin's words. On the day when the teacher finally returned the graded papers, her heart pounded with anticipation as she clutched her graded test paper in her hand. Excitement surged through her as she quickly scanned the page, searching for her score. Her eyes widened with surprise and delight as she saw her hard work rewarded with an excellent grade.
Unable to contain her joy, Hana rushed over to her best friend, Miliy, who was waiting for her in the hallway. "Miliy! You won't believe it! I did even better than I expected on the test!"
Miliy smiled warmly, happy for her friend's success. However, her disappointment was evident in her eyes. "That's amazing, Hana! I'm so proud of you. But I have to admit, I'm feeling down because my grades weren't as good as I hoped."
Hana's face softened with empathy as she reached out to comfort her friend. "Miliy, don't be too hard on yourself. Grades are just a small part of who you are, and I know how hard you've been working. You're incredibly smart and talented in so many other ways."
Miliy's eyes began to brighten as she listened to Hana's kind words. "You think so?"
"Absolutely," Hana replied with a reassuring smile. "Your creativity, kindness, and determination are qualities that shine brighter than any test score. I'll always be here to support and encourage you, no matter what."
Miliy's spirits lifted, and a genuine smile graced her face. "Thank you, Hana. I'm so lucky to have you as my best friend. Your words mean the world to me."
Hana wrapped her arm around Miliy's shoulder, offering a comforting embrace. "The feeling is mutual, Miliy. Friends are there for each other through the highs and lows, and I'm here to support you every step of the way."
As the school day ended, Hana and Miliy walked home together, sharing stories and laughter along the way. Hana continued to uplift her friend, reminding her of her strengths and the importance of realizing her worth beyond grades.
As Hana reached home. Hana stepped into her house, a mix of excitement and anticipation bubbling inside her. Clutching her graded test paper tightly, she couldn't wait to share her amazing results with Jimin. As she settled in, waiting eagerly for his arrival, her phone buzzed with an incoming call. Curiosity spread through her as she glanced at the unknown number.
"Hello?" Hana answered, her voice filled with curiosity.
"Hii Hana," a cheerful voice greeted her on the other end.
Hana's eyes widened in surprise as she recognized the voice. "Who is this?"
A familiar chuckle resonated through the phone. "It's Jimin. I thought I'd call to see how the test went."
Hana's heart skipped a beat, a smile lighting up her face. "Jimin! You won't believe it! I did even better than I expected. I couldn't have done it without your help. Thank you!"
There was a momentary pause on the line before Jimin responded, his voice sounding slightly distant. "That's great to hear, Hana. I'm so proud of you."
Hana's excitement faltered slightly as she noticed the slight distance in Jimin's voice. She longed to share her happiness with him in person, but she understood that he might have important commitments.
"Where are you, Jimin?" Hana asked, a hint of longing in her voice. "I wanted to celebrate with you. You've meant so much to me during this journey."
Jimin let out a small sigh. "I'm sorry, Hana. I have a prior engagement and won't be able to make it today. But I want you to know that I am genuinely happy for you. Your dedication and hard work have paid off."
