Chapter 3.

~ Childes POV ~

Ugh . History class . Can this day get worse? The only highlight of the day was that two new students came in. Hu Tao introduced them to us. Mona and scaramouche. They dont Sound like they are from around here. Scaramouche is mysterious, I Like it.

I arrived at my class and sat down. I waited patiently for Ms Keqing to come. My friend next to me, xiangling , was already here, studying.

" Hey Xian! What's up? "

" Oh hi Childe! Nothing much, just observing Yanfei and Hu Tao being all lovely dovely. Their funny. "

She chuckled. She is right though. Hu Tao always tried to be atleast a tad romantic , but she fails miserably.

" Heh , yea they are. Hey, have u noticed how everyone in our group has a partner except us? Its lame. "

" Well yea Childe. Atleast they tried to love. I dont fit in love and you... you just cant accept any girl that likes you. Why is that? "

" I...I don't know. I feel like I cant connect with them. They dont have that special something that I search. They all want me because im "the basketball captain" and the so called "popular boy". I just want someone who loves me truly and not to gain some stupid fame. "

I sighed. Do I ask for much? No, definitely not.

" Dont worry buddy, im sure you'll find someone. "

Xiangling smiled.

Our conversation was cut by Ms Keqing.

" Students! Today we have a new student! Lets welcome them! "

New student? Oh yea, The student we saw earlier.

" Hello, Im Scaramouche and I moved here from Inazuma. "

The boy waved. But he waved like he was forced too. He doesnt look very happy.
I looked around and I saw people giving weird looks to him for being inazumian. I heard weird whispers. I felt bad for the boy and i could tell xiangling felt the same as we exchanged a sad glance.

" Good Scaramouche...you may sit over..... Hm... next to .... Lumine! "

The teacher pointed to Lumine, who was next to me and Xianglings desk. The boy nodded and sat next to Lumine. He didnt had a very happy face, nor angry. I wonder what's up with him.

Anyway.

a few minutes passed and i checked my clock. 9:30 am. only 20 minutes away from PE. Then i remembered — Dang! Basketball practice! I almosr forgot! on may 15th, we have a very important basketball game and we have to practice hard.
I just have to be good.
I hope my friends agree to watch the game. They aren't the sporty kind very much, but they always support me.
Minutes pass...10...5....3....1 !!

" DRINNNN! "

The bell rang. Finally. I packed up and waited my friends to exit the history classroom.

" FINALLY!! CLASS IS OVER! "

Hu Tao groaned excited. She hates history and we all know it.

" Whats next on programme? "

Xiangling asked, but yanfei and hu Tao shrugged.

" Im pretty sure it's PE. "

I Said, while I see Lumine running toward us.

" Lumine!! Took your time. "

" Sorry guys! I was trying to pack but my books fell off my bag! Oh, and the new boy helped me! "

I tilted my head.

" The new boy? Really? He seems very ... shady. "

" Nahhh....we actually talked in history class! Even though, he sounded like he was forced to speak. "

While Lumine was explaining, The Boy left the class.

Hu Tao turned around to see him, and yelled at him.

" HEY! SCARAMOUCHE!! "

The boy seemed to flinched by the yell.

                   ~ Scaramouches POV. ~

" HEY SCARAMOUCHE! "

I flinched by the yell, I turned around , expecting to see my twin sister Mona, but instead , it was the dark brow haired girl from earlier, with her friends.

I looked at them confused.

" Uhhhh.... Hi? "

" COME HERE! "

The girl demanded. I huffed, and as I had nothing better to do, I walked towards them.

" Yea?? ... do u need something?... "

" Oh we just wanted to thank you for helping our friend! And since earlier we asked u and ur sister to join us at lunch, I think we shall see eachother as friends? What do ya say? "

The girl said excitedly.

I blinked. They want to become friends with me? That's weird, I just joined this school. Well, it's now or never , isn't it?

" Uhhh yea sure. Can u remind y'all's name though?... "

" Yea sure! I'm Hu Tao, that's my girlfriend yanfei, that ginger is Childe , she si xiangling and u already now Lumine! There are two more boys but they had art class now. "

Art class huh... my sister had art class for first period... lucky bastard.

" let's go to PE now! "

Hu Tao said, dragging us all. While she dragged me ,I accidentally fell on the ginger boy, Childe.

" Oh, sorry- "

I quickly apologised. Geez, what an embarrassment.

" Oh no it's okay! "

He smiled. Atleast he Is easy with forgiveness.

When Hu Tao let go of us — after we complained a lot — , we walked towards the PE classroom.
