~ Scaramouches POV. ~

Finally , the school day is Over. It felt like centuries. I packed my bag quickly and left alchemy class. I ran towards the schoolyard, to meet with the others.
When I ran outside , I started looking for my sister. I didnt find her.

" Hmph, she hasn't come y- "

My thinking was interrupted by a scare.

" BOO! "

Someone yelled and scared me. I flinched as I turned around.
It was Hu Tao. Ofcourse.

" GAH! HU TAO!!! "

I whined , angrily.

" Ooo seems that I scared ya~ "

She chuckled.

" whatever. Where are the others? "

I asked. Hu Tao shrugged innocently.

" to be honest .... I dont know. I wasnt with them. Were you ? "

" I was with aether and xiao but they didn't show up."

" Yeaaaa.....they must be making out in some bathroom. "

" oh my god stop , ew.  That's disgusting. "

" are u disgusted of love, scaramouche ? Are ya maybe scaredddd to love?? "

I froze by that sentence. I didnt Know what to
say at some point.It was a pretty dark thing to explain.

" Hey guys!... sorry I was late! My Maths teacher is sooo annoying... "

A familiar voice said. It was Childe. He was running towards us.
He noticed the awkward silence.

" Is everything alright?... "

He asked worried.He had a confused face mixed with concern as he placed his hand on my shoulder again.

" Oh yea...it's uhhh fine. We're just waiting for you guys. Where are the others? "

" Yanfei is coming. Are u sure...everything's okay?... "

" Yea we are fine, seriously. "

I Said, trying to reassure him. He really cared about us. It's funny if u think he just met me and he's already being soft towards me.

" If you say so... "

~ Childes POV. ~

" if u say so... "

I said , letting go of scaramouches shoulder. I dont know why but I feel like he's lying. But I'm not gonna push him.

" Anyways , did y'all heard? Lumine and Mona were talking loudly in Alchemy class and mister albedo told them to be quiet and Mona said 'why don't u quiet down? You are interrupting our conversation.' and now she is in detention! "

I Said. I looked over scaramouche , who froze by the news.

" MONA DID WHAT. "

He was raging. Suddenly , he caught me by my wrist.

" I have to get her out. Tell me where the detentions room is. "

I looked down at him , surprised. I was taken back by the sudden gesture. I blinked confused.

" it's on third floor , second room. Why? "

" you are gonna help me pretty boy. Okay? Surely there are students guarding it and you can distract them while I get my sister out , got it, "

He said it almost determined. My eyes widened when he called me 'pretty boy' . I used my other hand to cover my flatter as I nodded.

" and me? What about me? Hellooo, I exist you lovebirds! "

Hu Tao whined. I blushed when she called us lovebirds.

" first of all , we ain't lovebirds. Second of all , you'd should wait for your own girlfriend , you know? To find someone else to annoy than us. We got business. Let's go , Childe. "

I just nodded , still surprised by what happened right now. Lovebirds....pretty boy... Those words started wandering through my mind.I shook it off and started leading the way for the detention class.

Let's see where this is gonna end.
