Ami Wayne Fury, adopted daughter of Nick Fury, younger sister of Bruce Wayne, has a hit put out on her. Now she's in New York where she faces the man she married one drunk night in Vegas while in college.
Bucky rubbed his neck. "Let's just say it was definitely..." He tries to figure out the right word to say.
"Volatile." Loki replied. "I've never seen her that violent."
Bucky chuckled in response.
~One Year Seven Months Ago~
Winter Soldier set up his shot. He had been given a mission to take out Director Nick Fury. At the moment, the man was sitting in a meeting. Unknown to the assassin, his mission had been compromised.
Superman held onto Ami as he flew to the location. "If Batman kills me for this, you get to deal with Lois."
"You worry too much, Supes." The blonde replied. She slowed her heartbeat slightly and started to center herself.
Superman shook his head slightly. He lowered himself quietly and then let Ami go at her signal.
Ami landed without a sound and moved up slowly behind the assassin. She had to admit the assassin had a nice ass.
Just as Winter Soldier prepared to take a shot, Ami tackled him, wrapping her thighs around his neck. She did a cartwheel, bringing him down.
Winter Soldier quickly rolled to pin her beneath him.
Ami's eyes widened, seeing his blue eyes. She quickly squeezed her thighs tighter around him. "Loki!"
Loki shimmered in and saw the man who had Ami pinned. He growled and used his magic to knock him out.
Ami took a deep breath and moved out from under the passed out man.
"You okay, Pet?" Loki asked as he helped her up.
Ami nodded. "He's been brainwashed."
Loki sighed. "Of course he has." He sees the look in Ami's eyes and kisses the top of her head. "Let's fix the broken Midgardian."
~Present Time~
Steve chuckled softly. "You always end up between a woman's thighs."
Bucky smirked.
~One Year Six Months Ago~
Bucky shook his head. "I don't think this is going to work."
Ami smiled reassuringly. "Of course it will, Bucky." She pressed play to let his trigger words be said. Winter Soldier broke through his metal arm wrapped around her throat, lifting her. Ami growled at the tightening of his hand and tried to get out of his hold. Winter backed her up, slamming her into the wall.
~In Ami's mind~
I wrinkled my nose, remembering that fight. "I'm glad he was able to snap out of it and didn't actually kill me." I watched as phantom Winter Soldier started to beat me with the metal arm. Because of this incident, I've had to constantly show him that I wasn't afraid of that arm. Sometimes, it made sex fun, too.
~Present~
"You were strangling her?" Steve asked in concern.
Bucky nodded slightly. "There was an undiscovered fail safe."
~Back to that day~
Ami's vision started to fade. She finally brought a leg up with enough force to kick Winter Soldier in the face.
Bucky blinked and let go as Ami passed out. "No, no, no, no." He pulled her close and gently tapped her cheeks. "Babydoll, come on, open those eyes for me."
~Present~
"Took two hours for her to wake up and three weeks to speak." Bucky chuckled wryly. "First words were told you it would be okay."
Banner stepped back out. "She's finally stable."
Loki and Bucky sighed in relief.
"You're welcome to sit with her now."
The two men stood and quickly went in.
