A/N Before this chapter starts I want to have a quick chat with y'all. While I wrote these past chapters I shedded some tears. There is that German song called 'letzter song'by CRO its really sad, but the meaning is really deep and the song is about a guy singing about a past relationship, he's still crying after the relationship while she already moved on. I can really recommend to listen to it while reading it, even when you don't speak German.
And another thing is if you feel like people/ friends or your partner are not good for you, let them go, it's really hard I know but it's better for you baes <3 (based on the one part of Natalie)
I slowly opened my eyes, feeling the weight of exhaustion still lingering in my bones. As I stirred in bed, my gaze fell upon a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a box of chocolates, and a small bag of goodies laid out on the bedside table. A soft smile tugged at the corners of my lips, and I felt a rush of warmth fill my heart.
Natalie's sweet gesture touched me deeply. Despite the emotional rollercoaster I had been through, she was there for me, reminding me that I was loved and cared for. It was a platonic love, but it felt just as precious and comforting.
I sat up, cradling the bouquet in my hands. The vibrant colors and fragrant aroma lifted my spirits, and I knew that Natalie had chosen them with love and thoughtfulness. The box of chocolates was a sweet indulgence, and I couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of it. Natalie knew my weakness for chocolate all too well.
With a grateful heart, I reached for the bag of goodies and peeked inside. There were some of my favorite snacks and little trinkets that brought back memories of our adventures together. It was like a care package tailored just for me, and it made me feel cherished.
As I basked in the love and friendship Natalie had shown me, I decided to check my phone for any missed messages. Unlocking the screen, I saw notifications from friends and family, asking if I was okay. I was touched by their concern and appreciated the warmth of their virtual embrace.
Among the messages, there was one from Natalie that caught my eye. It read:
Nat
@natalieofficial:
Hey, sleepyhead! Just wanted to give you some space this morning. I hope you're feeling better after last night. You know I'm here for you whenever you're ready to talk. Love you! ❤️
@amelieofficial:
Thank you, Nat. Your surprise made my heart feel so full.
Love you too! Let's talk later. ❤️
@natalieofficial:
ahh I see you're finally awake beauty. Are you up for lunch?
With a deep breath, I put my phone down and let the moment sink in. Despite the emotional turmoil I had experienced the night before, I felt a sense of peace and reassurance. I knew that I was not alone, that I had friends who cared about me deeply.
