Harry
I argue with myself about telling him for the rest of our classes until we've been dismissed from class and all disband to go do our own thing. I pace in my dorm for an hour before I decide to go down to the common room where he sits on his own finishing the potions homework. "Sirius?" He looks up at my voice. "What's up prongslet?" He responds and I fiddle with my fingers before looking back up to meet his stare.
"There's something you should know..."
Regulus
I'm sitting on the ledge of the fountain, a book in my hand as I watch Lupin and that granger girl partake in quite the conversation by the looks of it. I watch in amusement as the girl waves her hands around talking very dramatically with her hands while Lupin repeatedly points to something in the book he is holding open.
"Ey Reggie." I look up to see that Dorcas as well as my three cousins and Lucius have joined me. "Good to see you Dorcs." I reply giving her a small nod before going back to watching the two golden haired gryffs argue it out. "Checking out the new girl ey? didn't think you swung that way." she teases.
I give her shoulder a little shove. "Of course I swing that way, and no I'm not checking her out." I feel Cissa's eyes but don't meet them as I continue to watch the two Gryffendors battle it out over books. "They really are going at it aren't they?" Andromeda chuckles as their voices get louder.
"Hermione! It says it right here--"
"Remus! Your book is outdated!"
"No it's not! It's a new addition--"
"For the seventies!"
I myself chuckle at the two and open my mouth to respond when I'm cut off. "How could you not tell me!" Both stop their yelling as we all look toward Sirius who is now barreling towards the two. "Sirius what—" Lupin is disregarded as Sirius marches right up to The golden girl herself.
The girls wide eyes are met with those of molten lava. "Why didn't you tell me?" He yells at her and she looks at him with wide scared eyes. "Sirius—" she dsoesn't even get another word out before he is once again yelling. "How could you not tell me your my—" He doesn't get to finish the thought because she slaps a hand over his mouth before he can get it out.
She looks like a wide eyed animal as she looks at him. She lowers her voice to the point where I can barely distinguish her voice. She looks over to us before turning back to him. "Not here." She whispers giving him a glare as she takes her hand off his mouth.
He looks like he wants to argue but she gives a small, tiny, miniscule, so tiny I wouldn't see it if I wasn't watching so intently, Nod in our direction. He looks to see what she is gesturing to and sees us. He must have some sort of relization because he lets out a, "Ohhh." She takes his hand and starts leading him and Lupin inside. "Follow me."
The whole scene was odd, I mean what—shit. Why didn't I think of this? I finally let my eyes meet narcissa's and it's like evrything falls into place. Sirius.
She is sirius's daughter.
Hermione
I lead them by the hands to the gryffindor tower, passing Lily and James along the way and telling them to follow. My heart is racing almost as much as my mind is screaming. Who told him? Did I give it away somehow? How do I explain this? What do I say? What will he say? Will he tell anyone?
Once we get to the portrait while I quickly whisper the password and rush through the door, still pulling Remus and Sirius by the arms. I see a couple of students from different years scattered around the room and quickly order, "everyone out!" Students look at me curiously and a few get the memo and skitter out leaving just the stubborn ones. "Now!" I reiterate.
