Carl, a 16-year-old young man, possesses striking black hair that beautifully complements his fair and white skin. With a semi-skinny physique, his warm, brown eyes exude a friendly and approachable nature.

As Carl's alarm went off, he immediately shook off sleep and took a quick shower before heading to the kitchen, looking forward to grabbing some breakfast. However, to his surprise, he found a yellow note stuck on the fridge.

Carl took the note and read, "Carl, I have a lot of work at the office, so I'm leaving early. I've already prepared breakfast for you, so don't forget to eat. Take care!" It was a message from his mother.

Feeling frustrated, Carl squeezed the yellow note and tossed it aside, deciding to leave the house without having breakfast.

On the first day of junior year, Carl arrived at high school, appearing disinterested in engaging with anyone in the hallway. As he made his way to class, he couldn't help but notice the odd stares and hushed whispers circulating behind him. Nevertheless, Carl paid them no mind, quietly taking his seat and avoiding eye contact with others.

Meanwhile, Mia, a captivating 16-year-old with radiant fair skin and flowing black hair, strolled confidently into the classroom. Her outfit, a stylish white t-shirt paired with torn jeans, exuded a cool and effortless vibe. As soon as Carl caught sight of her, his heart skipped a beat, and he longed to strike up a conversation. However, the right words seemed to escape him, leaving him hesitant and unsure.

On the other hand, Mia noticed Carl's presence but chose to maintain her composure, intentionally ignoring him. Deep down, she was hurt and confused about their breakup during the summer. She seated herself quietly in the chair behind Carl, staying silent and hiding her emotions inside.

After class, Carl headed to the canteen, but his heart sank when he saw Mia sitting closely with Jack, sharing laughter together. Feeling hurt, he decided to distance himself and chose a table far from them, hoping to find some peace of mind while having his meal. However, as he was trying to enjoy his food, the notorious bully, Mason, made an appearance with his gang. Mason, with his yellow hair, skinny build, flashy rings, and a yellow jacket, immediately fixed his gaze on Carl.

"Hey, Carl, is that you? How have you been, man? It feels like it's been a long time!" Mason taunted, a malicious smirk playing on his face. "And where's that chick who used to stick to you all the time? Oh, right, you guys broke up! But don't worry, I just saw her with someone else. Those kinds of women were never a good fit for you," he continued, trying to get under Carl's skin with his hurtful words.

Hearing Mason speak so disrespectfully about Mia, Carl felt a surge of anger, but he managed to keep his cool and walked away from the situation. However, Mason couldn't resist trying to provoke him further.

"Why are you walking away without saying anything? My words about your ex didn't get under your skin? What happened to the old Carl who was always ready to fight with me? Have you buried your anger along with your friend, Carl?" Mason taunted, crossing all limits to provoke Carl.

Mason should have stopped at Mia, but he took it a step too far by involving Carl's dead friend to mock him. A surge of anger coursed through Carl, and he struggled to contain it any longer. With a deadly look in his eyes, he fiercely tossed his plate aside and warned Mason with a menacing tone, "You've really crossed the line there, Mason."

Unable to control his rage, Carl lunged at Mason, landing a solid punch on his face, causing him to fall to the ground. Lost in the moment, Carl continued to unleash his fists on Mason's face, barely aware of his surroundings. Despite Mason's buddies trying to intervene, Carl's fury seemed unstoppable.

The intense fight attracted the attention of others in the canteen as people watched in awe of the ferocious clash between Carl and Mason. Neither of them showed any signs of backing down; their determination to win the fight was evident in every blow they exchanged. Blood streamed down both their faces, yet they continued to relentlessly hit each other.

In the midst of the chaos, Mia attempted to intervene, but Carl pushed her away in his rage. However, as reality sank in, he realized what he had done and immediately rushed to check on Mia's well-being, concerned about her safety.

Despite the relentless beating he received, Mason managed to stand up. Seizing an opportunity, he grabbed a nearby plate and ruthlessly struck Carl with it, causing him to lose consciousness.
