Keeper of time( Pyris) POV:

Many centuries after Arkan's defeat, numerous mighty kingdoms had risen. These kingdoms often engaged in battles for territory and control. Among them, Alveria and Veridia, the mightiest of all, were locked in a never-ending conflict that had endured for centuries and showed no signs of stopping to this day.

In the western region, Alveria held its ground, while Veridia stood strong in the east, pulling several neighboring kingdoms into their ongoing conflict. In the northwestern reaches, right on Alveria's doorstep, lay Edenvale.

Edenvale, a kingdom that had once basked in the glory of its victories and abundant wealth, now stood as a vassal state under the dominion of the Alverian kingdom for countless centuries. This shift in power followed the defeat of the ruthless Emperor Arkan at the hands of Eldric Eklund, the formidable leader of Alveria.

Edenvale paid a heavy price for the sins of Arkan. Its wealth vanished, and the burden of excessive taxes weighed heavily upon its shoulders, a constant reminder of its altered destiny.

Amidst all this, the descendants of Arkan still held influence over Edenvale, solely as mere vassals. Their authority had now been reduced to a mere fraction of its former self. They ruled with limited autonomy within their once-proud kingdom.

Nonetheless, in the wake of Arkan's downfall, his devoted followers, who had worshipped him as a god-like figure, continued to lurk in the shadows, awaiting their emperor's return. These devotees formed a group named the Bloodthorn, fueled by a thirst for vengeance against Alveria and its people.

A prophecy that had been passed down among the Bloodthorn foretold the birth of a child bearing the same sinister black facial marks as Arkan himself, a child destined to inherit the Timeshard and, in doing so, resurrect their emperor.

These seer's words breathed new life into the hearts of the Bloodthorns. Their relentless quest spanned centuries, driven by the hope of discovering this prophesied child, a child who had not yet come into the world.

Meanwhile, the people of Edenvale, after years of Alverian rule, began to rise in rebellion, yearning for Edenvale's independence.

Amid numerous negotiations led by diplomats, and with the prospect of an impending war, the Alverian emperor and the Edenvale vassal eventually forged a peace treaty. This treaty granted Edenvale the long-awaited status of an independent kingdom, freeing it from Alverian dominion.

Yet, unbeknownst to Edenvale's citizens, a menacing and concealed threat loomed on the horizon, threatening to shroud their newfound freedom in darkness in the years to come.

The peaceful days they had so fervently sought remained challenging to maintain as an impending storm approached.
