Ok so I kinda made a slight error to explain things in my last 3 chapters sorta!

So I'll be explaining them now before the questions start to pile in.

"Are inosuke and y/n identical twins?"

Yes! So I felt bad originally for not letting the reader choose how they look. But i wanted to make sure that y/n and inosuke were Clearly twins.

"You said that Y/n and Tengen met when she was 8, and he was 15. Where was inosuke if they were siblings?"

Ok so for this story, we all know that inosuke was raised by the Boar of which he wears on his head. Well Y/n was kind of the same way. But one fay she went off by herself to find food when she was around 4 years old. Because it's how she was raised. To take care of herself pretty much. And she ended up getting brought into a house in the village. She lived there up until they were killed by demons. So 4 years. She obviously made sure to visit her brother multiple times. So they didn't just cut contact.

When tengen found her, and wanted to take her in. She did let him know about her brother. Tengen tried to take her brother as well. But inosuke wanted to stay with his boar mom. He absolutely refused to leave her side.

They lost contact after that. But never forgetting each other. They met up again when she was going to final selection. He was in the area and they kind of bumped into each other. His sister is the one that gave him the idea that fighting was fun. So he trained himself to be good at fighting demons. Because he wanted to be like his sister. They were both 12. At least 2 years later he took the final selection and passed.

His main reason for traveling a lot when he passed was so he could find his sister and brag. Since that time they have both exchanged messages with her and tanjiros  crows. Speaking that his crow : Dongorimaru : is scared of inosuke. Dongorimaru used Tanjiros crow to pass messages so he would not have to be around inosuke.

So basically they kept contact while being away from each other!

"So if Tengen ends up adopting Y/n, would he have to adopt inosuke too?"

Nope! So the parent actually decides if they want the other sibling when adopting, it's a complete choice. Most of the time children have bad separation anxiety when it comes to siblings. But in this case; y/n would keep her last name, and inosuke wouldn't care.

"Does y/n know tengen and his wives want to adopt her?"

NOPE!!

"Ok Icie, you said that tanjiro didn't know that inosuke had a sister, but his crow was passing her messages? How does that work?"

So basically, the messages were only ever just told to inosuke. And tanjiro would never hear them. So he would have no clue that there was messages being shared unless he was to witness his crow giving inosuke a message. Which he has never seen.
