Y/N POV:
That was so unexpected. Even Potter looked confused. Well I might as well gather my books and get to the library then. Can't risk having anyone else nab my table.I stroll into the library and send a quick smile Madame Pinces' way. I make my way to my favorite table in the whole library, at the very back closest to the restricted section. There's a beautiful bay window looking out onto the courtyard and the Black lake. It has the perfect lighting no matter the time, perfect for sneaking in midnight study sessions.
As I wait I figure I ought to read to pass the time. I pull out a book and begin to read. With what seems like hours later, when in reality it was only a singular hour. I check the time and spot it is five to six. I stand slightly in my seat and scan the library for Weasley, but don't find him. I pull out my books and begin studying for my own classes.
"He still has time, its fine." I mutter to myself. I plunge myself into my studies, as time unknowingly slips by. I look up at the clock again and see it is 6:30pm, I huff and look at my now complete homework. I pull out a new book I had recently gotten owled from my mother. Though I am a pureblood I recently got adopted by muggles after the my biological parents died in the war, so this is my adoptive mothers way of trying to connect and learn about this new magical world she was introduced to. I do have to admit she and my adoptive father are taking it really well. Her favorite thing is the dragons, whereas my adoptive father really likes the idea of animagus, which I have to agree with.
I look at the clock again and it reads 7:00pm. I groan slightly and begin to slowly pack away my books, making sure they are piled nicely in my extended bag. Once I am mostly done with that task, I hear the doors open and look up out of habit. When I do I'm met with a disheveled, and flustered Weasley. He approaches me with quick but tentative steps, and sits with a huff. He sends me a quick glance and shakily pulls out his books and crumpled notes.
"Urm- I want to do transfiguration tonight, you know since we have that test before we head off for Christmas break." He expresses. He looks at me waiting for confirmation.
I give a nod and pull out my notes for transfiguration. "Not a problem, I was just looking over my notes for the lessons. So we are currently covering the animagus in class, the ritual, the process, and the results. Including what could go wrong if performed incorrectly."
For the next bit we went over the process. Me quizzing him and Weasley getting most of them correct. After a while of that, I had Weasley write down what he has learned and we got off topic. We had chatted and made jokes. Well I think they were supposed to be jokes, he laughed his way through most all of them. His laughter being contagious. Soon we were just laughing and crying at 'jokes'. I had a really enjoyable time with him. My laughter dies off and just fades into softly smiling at him, while he tries to collect himself.
He looks up at my face and I quickly turn away to avoid him seeing my flustered face.
WHAT AM I DOING?! SMILING AND GAZING AT HIM?!! I MUST BE INSANE, THERES ABSOLUETLY NO WAY!
The sound of a yawn cut off my thoughts. I look over to see him rubbing his eyes and trying to write notes. I look at the clock and see it's 10:12pm.
"I think its time we pause and go to bed for the day, we can pick this back up tomorrow night at 6." I softly suggest. He nods and packs his things. We make our way to the library doors and he opens it for me, I nod my thanks to him. He closes it behind him and turns to face me. The moonlight does wonders for his facial features. The way it snakes its way across his well defined jaw and cheekbones could make artists jealous. The light only enhances his agate blue eyes, making them hypnotizing. I blink myself out of my stupor and whisper a goodnight to him.
"Goodnight" He rasps out.

Ginny POV:
Here I was sitting in the great hall, eating at the Gryffindor table, like one does. When Pigwidgeon came crashing in with my mail. I rip into my letter and see it is my mom allowing me to bring an extra friend for Christmas.
"YES!" I didn't even realize I yelled that out until I got weird looks. Which I shrugged off.
I burst out of my seat and turn towards the Slytherin table searching for a certain h/c haired girl. With her not in sight I rush out of the grand hall and begin my search. As I go tearing throughout the castle, almost bowling over multiple first years, shouting out apologies over my shoulder, I crash right into the person I was looking for.
"Fancy meeting you here, you come here often?" Y/N smirks out.
I let out a bellowing laugh and smirk back, before remembering the letter. I sit up and ask, "Hey do you have any plans for Christmas break this year?"
She hums slightly before slightly perking up and informing me, "Actually, I'm not doing anything, my new parents had pre-booked a vacation and can't cancel it or buy another ticket, or something like that. Why?"
I smirk again and point at her using an announcer like voice, "Well how would you like a free vacation to.... THE WEASLEYS!"
She chuckles and agrees.
"FANTASTIC, I HAVE TO WRITE MUM BACK. SEE YOU LATER Y/N!!" I shout and run off. All I hear is her laughter bouncing of the castle walls.
