Being alone

The knock from nobody

I was time traveler , I traveled to a time where absolutely no human life existed. I wanted that, I wanted peace and quiet while at the same time living my best life.

I walked around cities all day admiring the overgrowned trees and plants on buildings. Ofc it wasn't the best considering how there was no one to operate the lights and electricity so I had to light torches and make my own farm for food.

I liked my life very much, being able to admire big advanced buildings and nature, doing whatever I want, getting whatever gadgets I want from the stores, and even more.

One night like usual I went to my house I had picked for the month. It was a nice 3 story house that belonged to a family of 5. It had plenty of plants and a big garden that I cherished a lot. I was making my dinner all picked fresh from my garden. It was a nice chilly summer, I lighted candles and opened some windows.

It was a peaceful even, tho I did not expect to hear a knock in my door.
