Nandi's POV

I huffed as I waited for my friend in front of the building decorated with colorful lights "I swear this bitch always late"I spoke to myself pulling my phone out to text her

It's Friday and the Lounge was packed, usually me and my best friend Faye went out every Friday no matter what we did Friday's was our girls day

But leave it to her to be 20 mins late having me standing outside looking like a hoe waiting for her pimp , I laughed to myself at the thought of how I looked right now

"DI DI I'm here!!"  I heard Faye yell as she got out the Uber

"I'm sorry tootie you know how sha gets when we go out" she explained to me "Faye.." I sighed "let's go inside and just have a good time" I said to her walking inside the lounge

I felt bad for faye we had been friends since we were young and she was the only thing I had close to a family member

Faye was in a toxic relationship with her boyfriend of 2 years, she said he never hit her but I don't believe her

He talks to her absolutely crazy and they argue all the time but I stay in my place

"Ouuu girl it's mad heads In here" Faye laughed as we walked to our section "literally" I agreed with her sitting down on the curved sofa

Once we got settled Faye had got some bottles and I started rolling up , Like I said it's Friday no work tomorrow so we going up

I sparked the spliff and took a couple pulls before passing it to Faye

I poured a cup of espolon and took a sip. Faye passed the spliff backed to me while I vibed to the song that was playing

My chargie by drake and popcaan played

I whined my body as I sang the lyrics. It was something about music that was so much more relatable when you were intoxicated

"I wanna put you in my life" I sung loudly as Faye and I stood up dancing

The night felt.....feverish, Like it could never end.
