its been 24 days, almost a month since Kazuichi and Gundham broke up. They still talked but they just werent dating and are only friends.
It was awkward for them to even see eachother face to face because everytime they look at eachother, they only get reminded on the person they lost.
Until one day...
Kazuichi woke up exhausted, he had to go to school for a whole week during summer because of band classes, he layed back down on his bed and turned to a plush his ex gave him, "ugh...why do i miss him so much" he wondered, looking at the small bear, rilakkuma, he grabbed it and felt something warm drain down his cheek.
"...i need him..."
Kazuichi looked at the clock, it read 8:58 am, great, he was late for band rehearsals, how long has he been laying there reflecting on his mistakes of breaking up with Gundham? Gosh, he loves him so much that he cant even keep up with time...
"Oh well, its not worth going anymore since the director already labled me as absent.." he snatched his phone off of the counter and checked his notifications. Gundham texted him...
Kazuichis eyes widened and he felt a grin forming on his lips, "finally!!" He opened the message, but all it read was, "goodnight" i guess thats all? Well its reasonable, it IS currently 9 am, why would he be up so late, plus he doesnt have any summer school stuff so theres no reason for him to be awake so late.
The pink haired boy slammed his phone back on the counter and groaned. SHIT! why did he fuck up so bad.

11 am
Gundham woke up from his slumber and huffed.
*DING!*
"hm?" Gundham rolled to his side and opened up his phone. It was a text from Kazuichi, it read, "im at band rn, my bad if i dont respond on time, ill be busy til 5 because thats when it ends" Gundham stared at his phone upset.
"how pitiful, having to stay after school for some nonsense such as 'band'" he rolled his eyes and just didnt respond back.
*DING!*
another message. It was from Miss Sonia, "gundham!! by any chance do you want to accompany me to a... a hang out?" Tanaka chuckled a bit and got out of bed. Getting ready to hang out with the princess, "maybe this shall make me feel more delightful"
once he changed and did his hair, he got his phone and shoved it in his jacket pocket.
Once the two met up, Sonia greeted him with a friendly hug and smiled at him, "where shall we go friend?"
"erm...wherever you wish..i just do wish to get my mind off of...him" he sighed, still upset about the situation.
"Oh gundham...cheer up!! i am sure he misses you just as much as you miss him!" she chuckled awkwardly, not knowing how to cheer her friend up.
As they were walking around, Gundham spotted something, pokemon, something Kazuichi loves. "...Sonia..may we examine that area just over therd" he said, raising one arm to point at the direction and using the other one to lift his scarf.
just on their way over there, Gundham spotted a color that was quite familiar. A hot pink and neon green combo...
Could that be!?
Gundham slowly crept closer towards the figure and realized, of course it was!! It was kazuichi, he was going through all the pokemon boxes.

Kazuichi continued rummaging through all the boxes until he heard footsteps coming closer to him, expecting it to be a worker, he turned around and waved, "hi!! im doing fine!"
"..."
"..."
"Gundham...?" Kazuichi asked, "what are you doing here? Since when did you like pokemon?" He then noticed a perfect blonde figure behind Gundham and tried to put 2 and 2 together, "...are you guys...?"
"Hm? Are we what? We are measly doing a normal thing, its called..a 'hang out'" Gundham murmured, raising his scarf higher to his nose, but thats when it hit him, Kazuichi said he was going to be at band practice until 5pm? Why is he here? Its currently 12:53pm?
"...Kazuichi...why did you lie" Gundham huffed, fixing his scarf, "uhm..." the pink haired boy just stood there awkwardly and sighed, "look im sorry, i just-...i just cant stand talking to you knowing that we were dating once..."
"it was your choice on leaving...its your decision if you wish to partake in a relationship once again.." Tanaka spoke, looking away.
"...Gundham, im so sorry, just please, if were going to date again can you please let me know when im upsetting you, i dont want to lose you like this again..."
