Uma is standing there with her scrutinizing gaze on Riddhima. She gets nervous thinking that if by any chance Uma gets to know anything. But then much to be her shock Uma smiles at her. She also returns back the smile with hesitation and goes near her.

Uma: I was calling for you but you didn't answer so came to check on you.

Riddhima: actually aunty I was changing in the closet then went to freshen up. So didn't hear you.

Uma: why you suddenly left the party? With whom you come back home? Me and Ajay was worried for you.

Party's incident flashes in her mind but she controls herself and smiles faintly at Uma.

Riddhima: sorry aunty that I didn't inform you before leaving. Actually I was hell tired. So asked Mr Rai Singhania to bring me home and he instantly took me back.

Riddhima lies to her and prayed in mind that Uma shouldn't caught her lie.

Uma: it's okay beta. If you're tired then you should rest.

She says lovingly cupping her face. Riddhima only smiles seeing her motherly love.

Riddhima: Good night Aunty.

Uma: good night. If you want anything then let me know, okay?

Saying this Uma kissed on her forehead. Riddhima badly needed this motherly touch now, which she's so much grateful to Uma after getting. Then Uma leaves from there and Riddhima quickly gets on the bed only after checking if the door is locked or not. Who can guarantee, that monster won't intrude in her room in midnight.

Here in Vansh's room, he can't be at peace after that incident. He's trying to make himself understand that he didn't do anything wrong. But the unknown feeling of guilt is continuously bugging inside making him restless. His subconscious mind is asking him to say sorry to Riddhima but his big fat ego is saying not to. He tries to remove all this thoughts from his mind and sleep but it is far away from his eyes.

Next morning.....

Vansh comes downstairs  to have breakfast. Everyone is already present but his eyes are only on a special chair which is empty unlike other days. First few minutes he didn't eat thinking that Riddhima must be late and will come soon. But when after several minutes she didn't came then dread fills inside him thinking that Riddhima must left this house. This is giving him an unknown pain which he can't even decipher. Uma is noticing that Vansh has no concentration on eating and only playing with food.

Uma: what happened Vansh? Why you're not eating?

Vansh gets stunned by his mother's sudden question and don't get what to reply.

Vansh: Mom nothing.

He somehow replied her.

Uma: what nothing? Are you not well?

Uma's question captures everyone's attention and they also looked at him expecting an answer.

Vansh: Mom.... Mom calm down. I'm fine. It's just that I'm not hungry.

Vansh instantly says seeing Uma on the verge of panicking.

Uma: are you sure?

Vansh: hundred percent.
