Vansh: before you get hurt with Riddhima let me tell you that she's not at fault. I forced her to marry me.

As soon as those words leaves form his mouth everyone snapped their gazes at Vansh including Riddhima's. She can't believe that how easily he is confesseing.

Uma: what??? You forced her to marry you? Did I taught you to force an woman? Where is your values and manners? Is this my upbringing?

Uma is shocked with his confession. She can't believe that her son can stoop this low like forcing a girl. Tears of hurt rolls down from her eyes. Same goes with other family members. They are also equally shocked.

Vansh: Mom first hear me out.

Uma: there is nothing to hear. No..no you can't be my son. Today i lost my son.

She says while crying. Vansh can't see tears in her eyes so he tries to hug her and console her. But she shows her palm to him for stopping.

Uma: Don't come near me.

Ajay comes from behind and side hugged her. She leans onto his chest and sobbed who patting her head to calm her down. Both are disappointed by him.

Vansh: Mom you're taking it in a wrong way. It's true that I forced her but she give her consent for this marriage. Isn't it, Riddhima? 

Vansh asked Riddhima and looks at her for answers. Hearing this Uma looks Vansh still leaning on Ajay's chest.

Riddhima: y...yes.

Riddhima answered when she felt Uma's curious gaze on her.

Uma: then why you said that you forced her?

Uma questioned again not believing her son.

Vansh: I'll tell you. First calm down and drink some water. Maid bring a glass of water for her.

He ordered a maid who was passing by there.

Uma: no I don't want water. First explain everything.

Vansh closes his eyes to control himself. He knows how stubborn his mother can be. She won't move from here until he gives her a proper explanation.

Vansh: okay. We love each other. So when you guys suddenly arranged her engagement with kabir I got mad as well as insecure. I was scared of losing Riddhima. So asked her for marriage. She didn't wanted to get married without informing all of you. But my insecurity got the worst out of me. I take a promise from her to marry me in the name of our love. At last she gave up infront of my stubbornness and this is how we get married.

Vansh finishes with a long sigh. Uma is still not convinced.

Uma: is he saying the truth?

She asked Riddhima looking at her at which she only nods her head in approval.

Ajay: if she really loves you then why she agreed to marry Kabir?

Ajay who was silently observing everything all the time, couldn't help and asked this question which first thing comes in his mind after hearing Vansh's story.

Vansh: because first of all Suresh uncle is your friend comes  business partner, so she thought that if rejects their marriage proposal then it might harm your friendship as well as business. She just didn't wanted to create any problem for you as you already helped her a lot so it was just a way of her for showing gratefulness.
